I never check the CL box- I just go for the hotel we want and then see what comes up from there. That CL box NEVER seems to work :confused3

RachelTori- AKL CL is on our list of resorts to try based on all the great reviews we have see here! :thumbsup2

Last year was our first CL experience and we are HOOKED!!! It is so nice to have the lounge for a quick breakfast, or for a glass of wine in the evening, a sugary snack before bedtime ;) We are staying non CL next week and I honestly think we will miss it, even with DxDDP!! :sad1:

Have a great trip!! :cloud9:

I love AKL and their Club Level is pretty terrific! :thumbsup2 My only complaint with AKL is that the rooms are small (the deluxe rooms were converted to DVC Villas). There are still "suites" available, but I think they are slightly out of my price range!! Since we are only 2 or 3 in one room, it's not a big deal -- plus, the Club Level Lounge definitely makes up for it! :goodvibes

Strange question - I just switched the second half of our split stay to the Poly CL :cool1: , and on the confirmation email it has the room listed as
"Garden View - Club Level (PM)". Anyone know what the (PM) stands for??

I just checked my dates (7/18-7/27) again.

I'm trying to go 7/21 to 7/28 and Deluxe CL is not available, but if I do..

7/21-7/27, deluxe CL is available and if I change the dates to 7/22-7/28, again Deluxe CL is available. It's like Disney will give me the discount for six nights and not seven nights.

So now I have a ressie for deluxe CL for 7/21 to 7/27, and a standard CL for the seventh night of July 27. The system won't let me have the seven nights in a row anyway that I tried to break up the ressies, and I tried every combo. Ughh... It is important for me to have at least the six nights deluxe, so I guess I'll have to deal. Hopefully something will open up for my 7th night, since I don't want to have to move. The CM did link my ressies so the resort will know, maybe they'll take pity on me. :rotfl:

It's just a standard code that all the resort room categories have.

I just rec'd IPO e-mail with form to be completed. I have already made ADR's, sched. ME and made request for room when I booked, so do I just give them the information again or just not respond to e-mail?

I was playing with the dates too. I could get 7/20 to 7/27 at full price but not all of my dates. I didn't bother trying the general public 25%. I tried 7/20 to 7/27 on the AP site and couldn't get it.

I just tried 7/21 to 7/27 for AP but couldn't get that either.

I'm sure we'll be OK. My DS will be fine on the daybed. I was just thinking the extra room would be nice with the 5 of us. We've stayed in one room at POR and were OK. We are most used to Poly and those rooms are bigger than the standard BWI CL rooms.

Did you try for deluxe CL for that one night as a seperate reservation?

I'd respond and let them know you already booked the ADR's, etc. They can look them up in the system and put an itinerary together for you. :thumbsup2

I am just watching Unwrapped from Walt Disney World and YouTube and it made me wonder this question. Are any items from the Boardwalk Bakery available at the Innkeepers Club Level lounge?

I just saw an e-mail from Disney Destinations which basically thanks us for booking another WDW vacation and mentions that were staying at the Boardwalk, plus it gives a lot of other information. Anyway I also noticed it said if we need tickets, reservations and etc to call or e-mail their Club Level Itinerary Planning Office and it gave the number. So does that mean we won't be getting anything e-mailed from the Boardwalk IPO department? I should also mention this was the first time we got this type of e-mail because we never got one for our previous stays at the Contemporary, unless we got this because we made the Boardwalk reservation online.

I have gotten that as well but IPO always sent me questionnare as well. But if you want to contact them go ahead.....I usually send in my ADR requests a few days before day 180 in this case, they follow up and then like 45 days or so out the questionnare comes with check out time, etc.

Oh yeah! :thumbsup2

I tried it every way possible. Two nights/five nights, three nights/four nights, so on and so on......;) It would not work, the cm offered to try different splits on the ressies for me, but I said nevermind, I already tried that. :)

I'm actually ok with just doing the six nights and going home a day early. I'm going to wait first to see if SW lowers their airfare rates though. I'm not going to give up my $99 one way that I have now, to drop a day off the vacation.

Going home a day early????:scared1::eek::sad2:

It hurt to pay what I did for airfare-I averaged $300/person RT on Jet Blue. I'm used to paying around $200 but have done SW for $105.60 RT. We do best flying out of Logan-the last time we flew out of Providence my DD was sick so it was a very long ride home. Now my flights are $425.:scared1:

You never know...

Count me as a multiple-resort CL guest that has NEVER been contacted by IPO prior to check-in.

I do my own Itinerary planning anyway, so it's never been a big deal for me. I get value from the Concierge staff "during" my visit.;)

ps: You're gonna LOVE the BWI, but it shines best during F&W!

Hi!
Another GF concierge question - do they serve any hot foods at breakfast in the lounge?

Thank you!!

Thank you!!

I can't even recall whether GF has oatmeal for breakfast.

But, GF CL breakfast is the only concierge that I've found that serves a protein for breakfast. In the form of turkey and ham cold cuts.

They also serve a Sparkling White wine in the evenings not found elsewhere.
