I have a question...I had to have the WL CL CM snail mail me the itenerary paperwork that includes the dining ADR form. What is the best way to get this back to her? Should I just copy it and email it or should I snail mail it back or what?

When we have got that stuff mailed to us from the Contemporary IPO there was always an envelope included that had their return address for mailing it back to them.

just got home last night from YC Cl. I think I am spoiled for life! It is just about time for afternoon swedish fix snack and I want my ice tea/lemonade :surfweb: I even had to bring in my own groceries this morning :scared1:

We had a 40% off offer in the room. We rebooked for October :woohoo:

Are they offering bouncebacks now?

Were you in a standard CL or LV CL? How was the view? Was the staff really nice? How long were you there for? I leave for YC CL in a few weeks so share! :_)

Hi Scottmel - I didn't realize your trip was so soon!

Hope you love YC as much as we do! Wishing you pixie dust for a great gv cl room. We had a really nice one overlooking the back entrance. Great courtyard view and if you looked sideways you could see Crescent Lake!

Have a great time - and please be sure and report back as soon as you get home!!!

Ahh the Disney math. It's the same math that I use when I convince DH that the $1100 difference between a standard BC room and BC CL is actually a savings! By the time I get done going through - breakfast, snacks, beer, wine etc. he can't figure out which end is up - and he's a CPA!!!

The Disney math always works - 5 weeks is a few weeks - $1100 is a savings.

We will be staying club level at the CR in just 5 weeks!!!:cheer2: I read that they have bottled water available as an offering in the lounge. Is it OK for me to grab a few bottles in the morning to take to the parks? I understand people get pretty upset about others taking more than they are supposed to. If it's not allowed, no flames please, just asking so I know if I should have water shipped down, or if it's just a regular perk of the CL.

There was a card in the room with a special offer code - 45% off dvc and 40% off deluxe:thumbsup2

We had LV - I looked out directly to the lighthouse. Putstaanding location and view.

For YC, there was glass large bottles of Evian and Perrier. No plastic toss in your park bag bottles. All the soda was in cans too

I have never used the ADR form. I just email IPO or call them with the things I want them to book.

They have large glass bottles in the lounge. You cannot take glass into the parks. You can ask for extra bottles to take back to your room and refill plastic bottles but I find it easier just to buy a case of water.

Here is a tip about the water in the lounge. Besides the glass bottle they keep out for everyone to use, they also have mini bottles of Disani they keep in the back and if you ask for some they will give them to you.

I have a few questions about AKV CL. Ok, what kinds of beer and adults drinks do they have? If staying CL is there enough food to cover a meal? Breakfast, lunch or dinner? How are the bathrobes? what times are the lounge open? What kind of foods? Anyone have any video of a CL room or lounge? How are the perks? is there daily cleaning of the rooms? Thanks for any and all information.

When it comes to amount of food my family and I think what they offer for breakfast and dinner is enough as a meal replacement for us however others might not feel that way, so it's a matter of personal opinion. Now there really is no foods they offer that you would call lunch items because from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Going by the schedule for the Contemporary) they would put out Cookies, Cup Cakes and other items like that.

BReakfast is fine if you can get by on pastries/bagels/yogurt/fresh frruit. It's plenty for our family. Snacks as CRFan said, are hit and miss, I'm glad to see him mention cookies, at YC and WL I"Ve seen goldfish and pretzels, nothing sweet. The dinner stuff is not dinner, it's hot & cold appetizers usually, andIT IS NOT MEANT TO BE A MEAL REPLACEMENT, it's appetizers, plain & simple. If you can fill up, great, but don't go in and take a whole platter!

Beer is generally domestic, some imports, always cold. THere will be bottled wine foryouto pour from and some apertifs like Kahlua, Grand Mariner, etc.

The robes are long terry cloth ones, two per room foryour use while a guest. you may takethem to the POOL with you, if you take them home they will charge you for them. :)

CL is fun, we enjoy it because it keeps us from having to worry with hauling drinks and snacks. We don't look at it as meal replacement though.

I want to add that when we checked into AKL-CL several months ago (we stay AKL-CL several times a year), the CM reminded us that the evening offerings (5-7pm) have been pared down. I guess some light eaters could make a meal out of what's there, but to us it's always served as our appetizer; then we head to a restaurant for dinner!

The foods offered at breakfast are definitely enough for a hearty meal and we do take full advantage of the CL breakfast! :cloud9:

I am so happy :cool1: I was able to apply the Free Dining discount to my AKL CL reservation this AM. Looking forward to another peaceful stay at a beautiful resort with access to our favourite Club lounge :lovestruc (not that I've tried any others, LOL AKL keeps pulling us home! :cloud9:)
August 21-26th AKL BLISS :cloud9:

Hi everyone! :goodvibes

I need some info from those who have stayed in a deluxe CL room at BWI. We decided to change our annual week after Thanksgiving trip to the 1st week of November instead. But as a result, we are unable to use our pin code and keep our GF RPC room :sad1: Right now I have a deluxe CL room at BWI on hold. From what I have read, these are bigger rooms and have a guaranteed BW view. Other than that, I know NOTHING about BWI, their CL lounge etc. How are the offerings in comparison to the GF (our only CL experience)? Staff? Lounge size? etc.

Thanks everyone!!!

BWI staff FANTASTIC! We stayed BWI CL last year...There is a whole BWI thread. Food was great, staff super...great stay.

I just booked CL @ WL with the 40% off code. I am so excited! We have stayed CL at POLY and YC before but I am looking forward to trying somewhere new. :)
