I'm curious as to how you know this already, since room assignments are generally known to be given out ten days or less prior to arrival.
I can not compare how busy the lounge in Sugar Loaf is since my family and I have not stayed there, however the lounge for the Atrium Club has never been crowded to the point where my family and I can not get a table. Besides that the Contemporary Magic Kingdom View is amazing and the cost per night will be less then the Grand Floridian.Hi all you concierge experts, trying to decide between GF/SL and CR Atrium MK view for the week before Christmas. What are the views from SL all GV and marina? We had a MK view at GF in April and we really loved it. I also have read that SL lounge gets really crowded and is small. How does it compare to the CR lounge?
Any pros and cons would be appreciated.

I called up to ask for a pin. The CM told me that there was a pin in my name, but that the lagoon views were all sold out. He took $250 off my package price, and said he would guarantee me a club upgrade with MK view, since he couldn't offer me the 40% off.
Thank you both, CR Fan and Tam1067,
Decision was made for us, as MK view club level was not available with our pin code. SL is actually $50.00/night cheaper, so for now it is SL, though CM said call back to check on availability as people cancel and change resorts frequently.
Fingers crossed somethin opens up for us, or maybe I can change our dates abit. We are somewhat flexible.
You're welcome and good luck on the Magic Kingdom View becoming available, however if it does not enjoy Sugar Loaf and the Grand Floridian.Thank you both, CR Fan and Tam1067,

Can anyone tell me exactly what this is? Is it worth it (kids 6 & 8)? How long does it last? And comments would be greatly appreciated.
Anyway, anyone else find that when you are on the Wildlife Discovery Excursion and are pulled over to the side to look at animals the other ride vehicles are more interested in you and why you get to stop then the animals? I can't tell you how many stares we got and how many people snapped pictures of our excursion van when there were perfectly wonderful animals RIGHT THERE to take pics of. My DH had a blast waving to them.
Just for fun I am looking at the various rates for 2010 and I knew before that at the Polynesian they added a Club Level - Magic Kingdom View, however why do they still have a Club Level - Lagoon View? When my family and I stayed there in December 2007 we had a Club Level - Lagoon View (room #3510) with a direct view of Cinderella's Castle, so what rooms are considered a Lagoon View and which ones are considered a Magic Kingdom View?
Well I personally don't see how they could tell which one is a Lagoon View and which one is a Magic Kingdom View, because in my opinion it looks the same. However I guess they know what there doing to add this new reservation category. They still have a Lagoon View Club Level ... several of the rooms were re-classified from Lagoon View up to Theme Park View. (Cast Members actually went to every room, looked out the windows, and made notes)

I guess that makes sense when you say it like that.Basically, the difference is pretty much how well you can see the Castle (and to a lesser extent, Space Mountain). The reasoning, pretty much, is "People who are paying for Theme Park View want to see the Castle." There are some rooms where the castle is completely blocked, and these rooms are the ones that were not upgraded to the new category.

(And, while I personally would be happy with any of the views from that side of the building, there are certainly some that are better views than others)

We reserved the same level quite a few months ago for this coming April. Months after we reserved, we were advised of the "View" changes and the additional charges.
I believe WDW is price gouging again....
When we stayed CL last year we had a beautiful view of the Castle from our room. We were told all rooms at the CL had the same views...
