Welcome Home;) and back to reality:sad2: We have had that room twice now and love it. As sfbank said, we have 1 week to go for our new adventure. Of course we will be visitng our favorite resort and cast.:cool1:

They are all looking forward to seeing you. can't wait to hear how you like the Contemporary.

Just back last night from another wonderful stay at the BWI. We had a wonderful time, as always. My niece and 3 of her friends were so very impressed with the cast, the service and just everything!! They ran the 1/2 marathon and had a ball.

Love bugs were almost all gone when we left. We really never had an issue with them except for the 1st couple days. Had room 4235, BW view right across from the lounge. We only went into the parks for 4 out of the 8 days there. We had just been there in August, so parks were not high on the priority list. We did attend the Halloween Party on Tuesday the 28th. I loved the parade. We really had fun.
It's great to hear that you had another wonderfull Club Level stay at the Boardwalk.

Kerry cm - glad to hear you had another great trip. We check in sat am! Can't wait!

Got an email from ipo today - sending a copy of my itinerary to look over and asking to confirm the names of those in my party, arrival time and method, departure time , and magical express info if needed. Also, xio encouraged online check in. Said that way our keys would be ready when we got there so we could hit the parks quickly. I will try to cut and paste here later.

We have been home about a week from our stay at the Grand Floridian, Sugar Loaf. I am ready to return.

I must admit that some of the info here on the DIS had me quite concerned about the lounge area and offerings, but all of that was washed away on our first day. When we arrived the mid-day snacks were out and I was surprised at the variety of offerings. Linda who was working in the lounge area made us feel very welcomed and told us to let her know if we needed anything. The lounge area stayed clean throughout our stay. Most of us cleared our own tables, but I did see some people leave their mess to be cleared by the staff.

The offerings were constantly replenished, I don't remember a time that empty trays were not replaced.

This was our best experience with Disney to date. If you have any questions concerning GF or SL, I will try to answer.

Thank you so much for this report!!!

We are leaving for GF CL in 11 days and can't wait!!!!

This is the response I got from Xio at Boardwalk IPO when I asked if we should do online check in for club level ( we plan on checking in around 7:15 am so that we can try and make early am emh at dhs)(we are spending the night before at por)

Thank you for your reply! We've gone ahead and noted your
arrival/departure times so you're all set:) As for the online check-in,
it will allow us to have your room keys cut and ready for you to go so
you can get your day started off quickly:) Also, if there's a room that
early in the morning ready for you, it will put you in the room over any
other guest since we'll know when you're getting here. Please let us
know if there's anything further we can assist you with!

Have a Magical day!

Just moved from Wilderness Lodge to the Poly due to pin discount. Never stayed club level at any of the resorts so I am looking forward to it. Being on the monorail is an added bonus we weren't expecting.

I have always enjoyed Poly's club level---I like being in the separate building, I love looking out that huge window in the morning at the castle over breakfast, love the fireworks and water parade from the beach. You will love it all!

Congrats on the PIN code! The view from the club lounge at the Poly is really lovely. In fact, the views from the Hawaii building are my favorites at WDW. Hope you have a wonderful time there! :cloud9:

Ok yesterday I posted how ipo suggested I do online check in. We are traveling with my mom but have 2 rooms (long story). I make all the plans (easier for her) so I checked her in but when I went to check myself in it didn't let me. The site brought up my itinerary details but no prompt to continue. I emailed IPO and they gave me a number to call. After several minutes and looking at my mom's reservation too - I was told my room was already assigned so I was blocked from online check in. We requested connecting rooms so I wonder if once I checked my mom in it assigned me a room too?

We are staying one night the night before at POR and requested connecting rooms and this did not happen.

Anyone ever have this happen?

Does anyone know if the BWI CL is open 24 hours, like the BC and YC?

Thanks!!

From what I recall, the BWI has been 24 hours for quite some time. The YC was not 24 hours when we were there in Sept '09. I read somewhere that the BC is on a "trial" of 24 CL...no idea for how long or if it will be permanent. Don't know anything about the YC changing to round the clock service. :)

The BWI lounge closed around 10 pm back in May this year, not sure if it's changed since then? :confused3

Does the Atrium Club at CR close at 10PM? Or is it open 24hrs?

Thanks!

The Contemporary Atrium Club lounge is open 24 hours, however at 10:00 PM everything is taken away and unless you just want to sit there or something there is no reason to be in there.

I think we have to clarify what is meant by the club being "open." My understanding is that some clubs were offering beverage service 24 hours.

Any thoughts on doing online check in for concierge? I should add we are checking in to poly cl next wed when the system is down so I didn't know if that would make a difference? Thank you!
