Anyone know if the club level lounges have bread and toasters at breakfast? And, if so, what they offer to put on it? My son is on a toast kick. Toast and peanut butter have been his breakfast of choice for months now.
All the lounges do have Bread and Bagels which you can toast. Now as for what you can put on them I have only seen Cream Cheese, although I am sure they also Butter.

It was almost like a Kahlua and cream (what are those called?), but better!! I'm not sure what he mixed together since my MIL got the first one and brought it back to the table and then went back to tell the CM that we all wanted one.

It had a little more kick than a Kahlua and cream and it was yummy!

A Brown Cow.....YUMM, YUMMM :lovestruc one of the only drinks I can enjoy at CL, as I don't really drink much liquor! BUT I LOVE Brown Cow's :goodvibes

Recently they added a fridge to the entrance of the lounge and at 5:00 PM they stock all their Beers in there and they are not taken out until 10:00 PM and it's the exact same thing with the Wine, because it's kept in a bucket right next to the fridge. So you can just go and take what you want.

THANK YOU! :wizard:

Is that what it's called? Oh my, it was so good!!!

I could have had a couple of them, but I figured since they tasted so good, it was probably not a good idea to consume too many of them and then try to stand up.

:lmao:

I thought a brown cow was kahaula and cream

:thumbsup2 YEP....that's what she was asking, what a kahlua and cream was called ;)
It's one of my faves......I usually make it with just milk and kahlua or milk and amarillo.....tastes the same either way, and the milk makes it not so rich! :goodvibes either way, I don't drink toooo many of them, :rotfl:

You're welcome and here is a picture of what it looks like.

At BWI they have bagels and bread, and I know I saw cream cheese and butter.

At Poly they had peanut butter, bread, and bagels, and they did at AKL CL too.

At GF RPC they had raisin bread, white bread, wheat bread, and two (at least) different kinds of bagels. You also had flavored cream cheeses (my fav was the smoked salmon herbed cheese) and another herbed cream cheese in addition to the peanut butter and the butter. :cloud9:

Hey fellow Tiger Fan! Maybe I can answer.

Most of Disney's sit down restaurants are on the dining plan. Victoria and Alberts of course doesn't show up (don't know how many credits that would take!)

Here is a link off DIS dining under dining on the front page. Go there and you can search and look any way you like. Take a look at the search restaurants and you can filter by dining plan. Hope this helps.

Hey Mike! This worked great. I found a couple of places we have not tried before. I like beiing able to filter the places!

I wonder if anyone has found some fantastic places off of the resort that they would like to recommend? Looking for nice places to entertain - no buffets. Price range - $25+ per entree.

My DH would love a fantastic sushi restaurant. He's picky. :)

Thanks!

3 Questions
1. Are Concierge Lounge bookings available on orbitz/expedia/travelocity? I usually only see availability on the Disney site or I'm assuming, Disney specialist travel agent. Expedia and the like sometimes have coupons to take a few extra percent off.
2. Is the open 24 hour concierge lounge trial at Yacht Club still going on?
3. Late check-outs. Any pull for CL guests to get a later check out? Say noon?

I asked for bread at BWI and they said they didn't have any. I don't remember if it was May or July that I asked.

I did ask for and got bread at Poly in August 2009.

We've stayed onsite at Disney many many times, but this is our first time staying CL. We made our reservations in July (through DU) and will be checking into the Poly in a little over 12 days. Not that it matters, as I've made our own ADRs, but I was wondering if it was common not to hear from the Itinerary Planning Office at all?

Also, we'll be arriving around 8:30ish for our ADR at Kona - what are the odds our room will be ready when we're finished our breakfast?

No, it is not common for you to have heard nothing from the IPO. Whether you have made your own ADR's or not, they still should have emailed you a "welcome". I had nothing for the BWI to do for me, since I make my own ressies, but I have still had several emails from them.

The first time I stayed CL at BWI, they did not get in touch with me, because , for some reason, they did not have an email address. Perhaps yours somehow got lost. Even though you have nothing for the IPO to do for you, since you've done it yourself, it's still nice to get the welcoming email---I would email them immediately. Put your name and your reservation #, as well as your arrival date, in the subject header. Just introduce yourself and mention how much you are looking forward to arriving at Poly. AND mention nicely that you have not heard from them at all!

Poly is a wonderful place, and I have always had good luck with their IPO. Hope your trip is great, and this is the only "problem" you encounter.

Since were on the subject of food. I've seen picture of hard boiled eggs at some of club levels. Does anybody know if they have these for breakfast at BWI cl. Thanks

Just back from split stay at CR CL/Yacht Club CL. Had a great time....and a few observations.

Glad I didn't rely on the IPO to make any reservations for me. They were absolutely no help at all. Tried to book a tour and dining reservations, with no response. I only sent emails, maybe calling would have been more effective. Don't know. But didn't feel like I got any value out of that service.

CR CL....very convenient. The lounge was only a few doors down from our room. They kept the sodas available all day. Beer was available all evening. So happy to see Yingling (I know I didn't spell that right.). Soem staff was better than others. Although I asked if there was any way we could get some orange fanta (it's in the fridge at the contempo), and weren't even so much as given a "we'll see if we can". It was a flat out "We don't have that." So a little disappointed in that. The food offerings were Ok. Some days better than others. I did notice a rotten orange in the fruit bin for over two days. I'm not trying to be overly critical, as we did have a good time. We were given a full six pack of soda to keep in our room. The staff was helpful in booking a reservation at the sandcastle club, and pulled up our other reservations. It was really nice having someone to help us just down the hall, instead of having to trek all the way down to the first floor, that is for sure. I will comment on mousekeeping though. I will say I was NOT impressed! We came back after three every day to not have our room cleaned yet. With the one exception to the day DH asked the CMs if they could put the request in to have the room cleaned before 2. Turn down service was practically non-existant. We had them knock on our door at 10 one night for turn down!

The size of the Atrium Club lounge was good. We never had a problem finding a place to sit, although we did take our stuff back to our rooms most times. Sitting out on our balcony, watching Wishes and eating dessert was just fabulous!!

The Yacht Club CL was good. I think I liked the food selections here better. They only kept the beer out during evening appetizers. They also closed the serving area immediately before they set up for each meal time. There was also no place to clean up your own plates, etc. So the staff cleaned up after us. That felt a little weird to me, I would have rather had someplace to put my trash. I will also note, at the CR, the CMs at the desk are the same ones that take care of the food. Not so at the Yacht Club. There are separate staffs. The Concierge staff were friendly enough, although I will say that many, many times when we came up to the lounge, they were all engaged in their own personal conversations. Friendly enough, and I was helped whenever I needed it. I think this lounge was busier than at the CR, but I'm not sure how many more rooms it serves. Our room was on the 4th floor, and the lounge is on the fifth, so it was somewhat of a walk to get to the lounge. So the staff gladly gave me a tray or a bag to take what I needed back to the room, to save trips..

For us, the cost difference between our waterview room, and the Cl for three days was only $100. Worth it for that, but not sure I would pay full price for Club Level. But fun to see how the other half lives!

It won't matter if your staying Club Level or not to get a late check-out, because it depends on how many guests are arriving the day you check-out. So if they say no it's because they will want to have your room cleaned a lot earlier so it's ready for who ever gets it next. However you can always ask for one and see what they say.

I just booked club level at CR. What foods and drinks are offered? Thank-you!
