Had a lovely visit to the Boardwalk recently and used the Concierge club level. Lovely service from Susan from NJ and from Jamie from Hope College at the main floor concierge desk. Very pleasant and knowledgeable about everything we needed to know! Kudos also to Charlotte at the front desk and RJ. You guys all made our trip a great experience!:banana::banana::banana::banana:
It's great you had a wonderfull time staying there and it's nice reading a review like the one you posted, since my family and I will be having our 1st Club Level stay at the Boardwalk in a few weeks.

I, one month prior to my trip contacted IPO with a possible room request for my upcoming stay, and they promptly sent a lovely response. My question-- Are they suppose to contact you again for any reason or should they have contacted me earlier being that I've been booked for several months now? I booked all my own ressies and prefer it that way, but I was just curious. I'm looking very forward to my first Poly CL experience..:cutie:

P.S. I did book directly through Disney and they have all my correct info, I have also made no changes to my Resort Reservation.

i had a similar experience when we stayed club level at the boardwalk last december (during value season). i made my reservations etc... 180 in advance and they didn't get around to contacting me until a week before our trip. to me that isn't club level service since they can't get you into any table service places etc... at that late date. but i will say we had multiple problems regarding our stay there. when we were at the poly, contemporary, gf, and wl they always got in touch with us really fast both at peak/regular season as well as during value season. we should have known we were in for problems when we arrived and the first thing the boardwalk concierge did was complain to us that people should just stay home at that time of year (thanksgiving to christmas)... he wasn't in a very disney mood i guess.

Hi. I had first posted this on the WL thread, but thought it may go better here.

I wanted to post a kudos to the WL CL IPO CM's (I think they are also the Poly IPO). Our ADRs went from party of 6 to party of 7 unexpectedly when my BIL joined my MIL & FIL's reservation. Brittany with the IPO was able to get all of my ADRs changed at some very popular places with very short notice. I can tell you Bittany never gave up. She kept me updated. I rcv'd my updated itinerary today with all ADR's as party of 7. She totally exceeded my expectations and made me a fan! Thanks IPO!

Hope you guys are lucky enuf to have the pleasure of working with Brittany.

Glad to hear it!

Can you (or any other BWI CL folks) tell me alittle about the coffee machine there?? :flower3: I was addicted to the GF RPC coffee machine last year and I am curious if it is the same one (or at least similar) Mommy needs a fat free latte to start her day on vacation! :rotfl:

In CR and GF, where there are 2 different lounges/room areas, can you access both lounges or just the one where your room is? For example, if you are in GF Sugarloaf, can you go to the tower concierge lounge?:confused3

Sorry, but honestly I did try to search for the answer to this, but can't find it.:guilty:

Will the IPO CMs still do a bit of shopping for guests before they arrive? I'd like to have a little something in the room for DD's birthday.
Thanks!

At the Contemporary you can only have access to the lounge of the specific floor you are staying on. However at the Grand Floridian I read that anyone staying in Royal Palm can also have access to the Sugarloaf lounge if they want to go there.

I am also wondering the same thing.

It is my understanding that it doesn't work in reverse, i.e., Sugarloaf guests cannot go to the RPC lounge. :sad2:

I asked this of the AKL IPO and they responded they would shop for me if I provide my credit card #. I want to leave animal kingdom beanies for my DD with turndown service :) I've heard it depends on where you're staying...

correct. I have always been told RPC guests can go to sugarloaf if they want, but SL cannot go into the main building. I have never done so, and guess the only reason I would go into SL would be if I was at the courtyard pool and wanted something to drink.

Just wanted to say what a fantastic job BC IPO has done for us.

They arranged through Chef Brian at the CR to have a specialty cake made for dd's birthday and also are making purchases at BC Marketplace and have them made into a "gift basket" but with sand pails instead of baskets and a light up mickey balloon attached.

We have always got a response email very quickly and then have been very helpful.

Thanks! This is very helpful!
I'll email them soon.

Well in 30 days from today my family and I will have just checked out of the Contemporary and then will be checking into the Boardwalk for our 1st Club Level stay over there, so the closer we get the more real it starts to feel.

We will be checking in to BWI in exactly 4 weeks!!! First CL stay at Disney and can't wait! See you there!!

Is there anyone from NY that can give me ideas on "tips" for the CMs in CL? Everyone is saying to give a basket of items from your area. I have no idea-Apples? I love NY trinkets?:confused3 Thanks

Thanks for the responses.:thumbsup2 That doesn't seem quite fair @GF CL, but no one ever said life was fair.

Well--I'm bringing some local chocolates decorated with scenes from Memphis--the river, graceland, etc. Also, a few bottles of Corky's BBQ sauce for the guys and some locally made 'sweet smelling stuff" for the ladies.

I've never read that, but good idea.
Questions:

Basket from home or buy one there?
How much stuff would you put in it?
