After one night at Coronado Springs I will be moving over the to Beach Club concierge. At other WDW resorts we were given a card for the dash of the car by the guard indicating we were concierge guests. This card allerted the bellman and we were taken directly to the concierge lounge to check in - it was great.

I will be arriving "on foot" from the parks when checking in to the Beach Club, has anyone ever done this? Do I need to stand in line to check in or is there a check in area in the concierge lounge at the BC? Assuming the floor its key access only I wonder who I would speak with to gain access. If anyone has experience in this area I would love to hear your comments and suggestions. Can't Wait!

When we checked into the Poly, we went to the regular check-in desk. The CM there assigned us a room, and the bellman took us to it. On the way he explained about the concierge longhouse being for concierge guests only. The concierge CM's opened the doors for us and welcomed us. They said to come to their desks after we had gotten settled in and they would explain about the lounge and other stuff. They were all very friendly. Hope this helps! :)

Hi: We are also staying concierge at the poly for the first time. I just received an itinerary to be filled out and sent back, the problem is I am in canada and it will take a couple of weeks to mail it back. I will be there by then.

All I want to put on it is a room request and mention some food allergies. How should I go about this.

I have emailed them using tikimans email address but no one has returned my email. We have some food allergies and I told them that I could email these allergies to them if they wanted.

Do they call you, or does it take a while before they email you back. Thanks,

Deb.

Cottontail- We stayed in Poly concierge last Nov. We, too, had food allergies I wanted them to be aware of. I filled out and completed the itinerary and waited...and waited... and waited... I called and emailed them. When they did respond--about 2 1/2 weeks before the trip they couldn't have been more helpful. The assured me that all lounge food with nuts would be labeled and then proceeded to have the dining manager at every restauant we had a reservation at call us to inquire about my daughter's allergies and anything they could do for us. They were so helpful and put my mind at ease. Also, at every restaurant we ate in, the chef came out to see us and explain the buffet if applicable or menu. Fantastic service.
Hang in there, the concierge will contact you and handle all your requests.
