Just got back and yes that info is correct. The veranda is the normal depth as the others but is three stateroom/sliders wide.
As a follow up does anyone know what the 4 aft 1 bedrooms cabins are like? They have a different configuration inside and a much bigger veranda. We will never stay in one as they are all HA and if we are going concierge DW insists that there will be a tub! LOL
here a comparison, we did a B2B July 2019 for 5 nights & 7 nights for Alaska, since we added the 5 nights closer to sailing 8602 was the only concierge cabin available. It was good for my Aunt that uses a transport chair. Some pluses & minus. This is the first time we stayed in a HA room, we normally get T & V connecting for 7 people. However, this trip there was only 4 of us which made sleeping arrangement tricky Aunt 81, DD21 & DS19 and me the mom.
8602 the bedroom is bigger then a regular T, and the Murphy bed is also in the bedroom area.
Veranda is huge, and was great for Alaska, but has whitewall. However, Cabanas outdoor seating looks right onto it. Some reviews also mention about veranda being sprayed when they clean the area above. Stairs around the corner to run up and get food from cabanas and eat on veranda. Sleeping arrangements, were not ideal for us Aunt gets one bedroom, so no one sleeps on Murphy bed b/c she putters around to the wee hrs.
Pullout couch was the worst, even with a topper, had a rollaway which was great with a topper. We had the table and chairs moved into the bedroom, by the sliders, where the murphy bed wood pull down. Still plenty of room in bedroom. The closets were huge, one in the bedroom,
nice sz walkin off living area, and one other. Bathroom in bedroom is big, no tub, other bathroom off hallway is same as any other T
each cabin in back of ship is set up differently
I will post more later, after I look at my pics
