Concierge at Beach or Yacht???

Which is better? We've been at many different resorts at Disney, but not BC or YC - trying to decide on which one based on which resort has a better offering of "standard view", which resort has a better concierge, and which has the most updated rooms - WE CAN'T WAIT - OCTOBER 17TH-24TH!!! Any suggestions?

resorts! Love them both. Haven't been since the room updates. But, I think Beach Club has better views because you get more of the "beach" and Crescent Lake. Of course, that's a water view. We've never stayed in a standard view. We've done concierge at both and honestly they were both about the same. The lounges were great - liked the food offerings.

You're going to love Stormalong bay and the whole Epcot Resort Area. Lots of shopping & dining right at your fingertips.

Went to the YC last November. Had a consierge waterview room that had just been renovated. It was a deluxe room and really big. I could lay in my bed and see the Eiffel Tower. We watched Illuminations almost every night from our balcony and could even hear the music. They have renovated the BC rooms, but have not seen them yet. The lounge was always well stocked with food and drinks and the staff were very helpful with my daughters. The YC is the best property onsite and is now our favorite hotel at Disney. Just came back from honeymoon @ YC Concierge and we thought it was fantastic. The staff was so friendly and helpful with all of our needs. The food offerings were plenty and our room #5179 was a waterview room and we looked right out at the lighthouse and could see Epcot and Paris.
I highly recommend staying there. As we stayed @ the GF RPC, the 4 nights before the YC and the GF was horrible and very disapointing. what a very rude concierge staff. So needless to say- you will be very very happy at the YC.

Also, from what I understand from the YC COncierge staff-- the YC and BC Concierge are run by the same manager and basically run the same way.

they do have the same manager. I think again as always it is just your personal taste in decor. Yacht or Beach. Anyone you go to you will love it.

Just got back from BC concierge.............and honestly I would go with YC. I found the concierge lounge to be way to small, and the kids just ran all over the place!! Now there were times when you could get in there and have a few minutes of normalcy while it was quiet but for the most part I found that the parents let the kids have the run of the place. We ended up a few times just going down stairs, and paying to get something to eat, instead of enjoying the lounge which we were looking forward too very much! One person actually turned around from the toaster with his bagel and threw it on my daughters plate. Not even realizing that it wasnt his own. Like I said way to crowded. The crowds wouldnt have been bad if people could of had manners, and kept the kids in line. My children are 14 and 11, and we made sure they knew how to behave before we even went in. I talked to one of the conceirge staff about this, and she agreed, and said that the yacht club is like a compleetly diffrent place...........she said much more quieter, yet still kid friendly. My husband I walked over that evening, and did find it to be much calmer, and with a much more peaceful atmosphere. We had a wonderful time, and enjoyed the hotel very much, but if I had the chance to do conceirge again, I would definetly go with YC. Hope this helped some.

I've stayed at the beach club concierge and I love it. They treat you great , and personally I think the Yacht Club is a bit stuffy.
