Concierge at AKL villas

Hi Everyone,

We are staying at AKL villas on concierege for the first time in Jan.

Can someone tell me if I have to contact concierge or will they contact me as the trip gets closer. I booked in Feb.and haven't heard a thing yet.

I don't know who made the first contact, when we had CL, but you do want to tell the concierge people what you want to book, as far as ADRs and safaris, so that at the first opportunity they will try to get you what you want. Maybe call MS or AKV directly and ask. Somehow I found out who to talk to, but I've gotten rid of my e-mails. Best wishes!

We've stayed Concierge Level at AKV twice and were never contacted by the Concierge staff. You can contact them by phone at (407) 938-4755 or by e-mail: animal.kingdom.lodge.itinerary.planning@disneyworld.com

We stayed in CL at AKV in December, and they never contacted us. We called them to make reservations for the Sunrise Safari, but I handled all the other reservations.

If you know where you'd like to do your ADRs you can let them know ahead of time and they will make them for you right at your 180 day mark so you don't have to worry about it. (and if you give them second choices, they'll fill in with those places/times). And if you can, book the sunrise safari. It was great.

I have always contacted them and never been contacted by them first. They are wonderful people to work with and I know you'll have a good time.
