Concierage Upgrade

We just got our discounted rooms at WL Courtyard view for Feb. 8-10. Yeah !!

Has anyone ever got upgraded to concierage?

If so how?

Last November - at check-in - I asked if there were any concierge rooms available. there was one left and it was offered to me at an additional $50/night.... which was a nice deal.

We liked it so much we booked it for our next trip in January - we didn't want to chance them being totally booked when we got there.

I've heard (on these boards) of people getting it offered to them at check-in either at the reduced rate or at no additional charge - but the "free" upgrade has got to be rare....

I have received a free upgrade to Concierge Level at Wilderness Lodge but it was under unusual circumstances and I felt very fortunate, and it was totaly unforeseen,...as lisadam said they are very rare, and I would never expect this to happen to me again.

They do offer upgrades to Concierge for an additional charge if there are rooms available on the 7th floor. I have heard from $40.00-$60.00 per room, per night.
