Hilary Duff- 2004, I was 8, and I was obsessed with her. I even wore clothes from her Stuff by Hilary Duff clothing line!! Her sister Hayley opened for her, then she came back out to sing "Our Lips Are Sealed", and of course, my mom took us to the concession stand to get a soda!! So, I watched on the little TV next to the stand.
Kelly Clarkson- 2005, she came to my hometown (Binghamton, NY) and I was sooo excited!! We had amazing seats, and I had what my mom called a "religious experience" (aka I was so excited I cried). The funniest thing was that when Kelly was singing "Beautiful Disaster" acapella, this guy yelled out "Have my children!" Everybody laughed, but I was 8 at the time, so I didn't get. Also, because Shick Intuition razors was the concert sponsor, they put these huge carts of razors outside the arena at the end, and I remember these ladies trying to carry, like, 8 razors...
Carrie Underwood- 2006, She came to the NY State Fair, but it was kinda low-key because it was only about a year after she won "American Idol"...
American Idols, Season 6- 2007, Two of my friends came, and one made me a sign for Jordin Sparks even though she loved Sanjaya!! This was pretty good.. Jordin, Blake, Gina, and Chris Sligh were all really good.. We got Pop-Tarts at the end...
Carrie Underwood- 2008, She also came to my hometown. Little Big Town opened for her and they were really, really good. All in all, the show was absolutely amazing. She played guitar on "Get Out of This Town" and after the instrumental part, they could not get her a mike that worked!!
Kelly Clarkson- 2009, She came to the NY State Fair. Again, amazing. She did this acoustic version of "Behind These Hazel Eyes" that was gorgeous. Gavin DeGraw opened for her, and was great as well. It was just him, a guitar player, and a drummer...Awesome!!!
Not sure who I'm going to see this year... There's a rumor that the American Idols may be coming here... Though with the way this season's looking, I don't know if I'd want to go!! I'd LOVE to see The Veronicas (who actually came here but I couldn't go), Paramore, Demi Lovato, Lady GaGa, Adam Lambert, and Christina Aguilera!!!
