I'm sure there's been a thread like this before but oh well (:

What concerts have you been too? Were they good? Which ones do you have planned? & who do you hope to see in the future?

Share your concert experieces & reviews :)

Here's mine:

Gary Allan (Jan 18, 2008) -At a casino not far from my town.. My friend and I got up to the stage, drunk blonde lady danced on us all night long. The concert part was AMAZING. My first concert and I'm glad it was Gary! (:

Gary Allan (Nov 9,2008) -My mom, and two friends went. Same place as the first time but they changed the venue up and we didn't know it wasn't general admission anymore.. so we had to sit in our seats :/ It was still fun. After you get by the stage the first time.. it'll never be fun when you have to sit down. lol.

Gary Allan (Oct 15, 2009)- House of Blues in Houston, Tx. W/ my mom and older sister. We were right at the stage, YAY! Small venue but he likes those better(: I'm pretty sure that was the best one of his I went too! It was great<3 He throws out his picks during te concert and this was the first one I caught one at!

Gary Allan (Jan 2, 2010) - Same place as the first two times w/ my mom, sister, Garrett, my mom's friend and her two friends. Gary and his band were great as usual!! Again, at the stage(: Bad choice in shoes for me though. Standing up and dancing in 3 inch cowboy boots.... bad idea. lol. Ermm.. his guitarist Jaime kept looking down at us and smiling and laughing. We always stand right under him.. he's scotish so he wears a kilt to every show.. I think he's starting to recognize us. lol. At the end, they throw their playlist sheets of paper out to the people and Garrett being 6'3" caught one. (: His steel guitarist CJ and Jaime stayed to get their stuff and we kept calling CJ cause he's uhmm.. HOT. And he pointed to the side of the stage and came down the stairs and gave me a hug and signed the playlist and took a picture with me (: It was great<3

We have Lady Antebellum, March 15. Keith Urban, March 16th. And Gary, March 17th! At the Houston Rodeo (:

THEN in April we're going to the crawfish festival in Buluxi(sp), Mississippi and Gary's gonna be playing their too(:

And the we have the CMA Fest in June and Gary's fan club party a few days before. So we'll head up to Nashville for them two weeks (:

All they know now is that Carrie Underwood is gonna be their. They only say a few people at a time. lol.

I hope to see Kings of Leon & Shinedown some time. I'd looooove to see them<3

I've never been to a real genuine concert before.

However, I'm going to Angels and Airwaves' show in Allentown, PA in May. I'll be driving the 45 minutes down there with my BFF to go watch AVA and Say Anything.

If I push my luck, I'll be going to their show on the 7th in Philly. If I can, I'll drive myself down to the venue, go meet up at the concert with a friend, and then crash at another friend's apartment in the city. Both friends are nurses from the hospital, and one is like my sister. And then venue is only 14 blocks from the hospital soooo. But I doubt that's gonna happen. /:

I've only ever been to one proper concert..

Cobra Starship. 5th February 2010. It was epic. :D

I go to this festival in Liverpool every year though. And I've seen The Saturdays, Mr. Hudson & Basshunter for free. xD
Oh and I've seen Family Force 5 when they supported Cobra. I didn't really like them but yeah.

Kelsi, you really like Gary Allan, huh? :goodvibes
Here's my list, I haven't been to many;

26th May '08 - Grand Slam Concert, Millenium Stadium, Cardiff. W/ my mum, dad & mum's friend. Stereophonics & Feeder were the main bands. Elin Manahan Thomas & Dafydd Iwan also played. The welsh rugby team were there too, so it was super special. And the tickets cost £5 too, so it was good value. :)

26th March '09 - Teenage Cancer Trust Concert, Royal Albert Hall, London. w/ mum, dad & auntie. Stereophonics were the main act. Karima Francis & The Noisettes played too. I really enjoyed this. We were sat quite far up, but had a really good view of the stage. The sound was amazing, to be honest.

25th November '09 - James Morrison & One Republic, CIA, Cardiff. w/ my aunt, uncle & cousin. I'll admit, at first I only wanted to go to see One Republic. They were amazing as an opening act. James Morrison was fantastic, and did Man in the Mirror as an encore. I loved that night. :)

Upcoming;
17th Feb '10 (tomorrow.:p) - Kelly Clarkson, CIA, Cardiff. w/ my mum, cousin & best friend.
22nd Feb '10 - The Automatic, Brangwyn Hall, Swansea. w/ my best friend.
5th June '10 - Stereophonics, Cardiff Football Stadium. w/ my dad, mum & ??. Soooo excited for this! Should be an amazing atmosphere since it's in Cardiff.
23rd June '10 - Pink, Liberty Stadium, Swansea. w/ my best friend.

*possible*
7th March '10 - Stereophonics, MEN Arena, Manchester. not sure who with yet. mum wants to sell the tickets, dad doesn't. x]

I'd love to see the Fray, One Republic (headlining.), Kings of Leon, All Time Low, Owl City & Manic Street Preachers. :D

Seen:
Kenny Chesney
Sugarland
Pat Green
Rascal Flatts
Taylor Swift
The Cab
The Academy Is x2
Mayday Parade
The Secret Handshake
You Me At Six
Toby Keith
Trace Adkins
Rodney Atkins

My first concert was Kenny Chesney and Lee Ann Womack. But I was little, and don't remember much of it.

April 26, 2009 - Fall Out Boy, All Time Low, Cobra Starship, Hey Monday and Metro Station. I went with my two friends, and I consider it my first "real" concert. It was pretty awesome.

July 22, 2009 - Nickelback, Saving Abel, Papa Roach, and Hinder - It was an outdoor venue, I went with 3 friends, and it was good.

December 5th, 2009 - All Time Low, Hey Monday, We The Kings, and Friday Night Boys. By far, my favorite concert so far. I went with 3 friends, my sister, my mom and my friends mom. My friend had meet and greet with All Time Low, and took me with her. They're my favorite band, so meeting them was really awesome. They were the nicest guys ever. The concert was at the smallest venue they'd been to on that tour. It was so small, and crowded, but I loved every minute of it. :)

I'm hoping to go to the AP tour that's coming up here in May, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to. And then I'm hoping lots of good concerts come here over the summer.

My first concert was I think during my freshman year and I saw Kelly Clarkson in Washington state when we were on our way to visit cousins in Port Angeles. I really liked it, and she was as good in person as she is on CD. Plus I was like a few feet way from her when she came into the audience and went to a stage in the middle of a concert. We decided to go to it just because we'd be driving all day and we could spend the night afterwards. It was fun, and I liked it.

My second concert was Corbin Bleu. It was during the summer fair between my sophomore and junior year. I mainly went because I liked Corbin Bleu and my sister and her friend wanted to go too. I thought it was good and that he was a good entertainer.

The third concert I saw was the American Idol concert on my birthday in Minneapolis. I really liked it, but we were so far back that we couldn't really see anything. Adam Lambert was an amazing singer, and so was Kris Allen. I couldn't really see anything because we were so high up, but the concert was just really cool. I fell and tweaked my knee though, and have been having problems with it ever since. (It hurts going down bleachers, and I have to lead with my left knee forward instead of my right knee).

I've seen...

Droid, Hellyeah, Korn (Tuesday Oct. 23rd, 2007 at the AVA Amphitheater) Five Finger Death Punch were on that tour too but we missed them or they weren't playing...first concert, I went with my oldest sister who used to listen to Korn. We were in the back/grass area and there weren't many people close to us so this concert was way different from the rest...

Black Tide, The Confession, Operator, Avenged Sevenfold (Thursday Dec. 6th, 2007 - The Rialto Theatre) I thought I was going to die when A7X went on. I was following my other sister's friend from school (she asked if they could watch me or something...) and her friends...it was weird but they kept me from getting crushed a few times.

Matt Costa, Modest Mouse (Tuesday Dec. 11th, 2007 - The Rialto Theatre) I won tickets from KFMA to this concert on the first chance to win them! The concert had been sold out for a while too...I sold my extra ticket to a guy who looked like Patrick Stump.

Drive By, Billy Talent, My Chemical Romance (Saturday March 29th, 2008 - The Rialto Theatre) Billy Talent was amazing and MCR played a lot of old songs that they hadn't played in a long time so they didn't sound too good unless they were playing something newer...

Lights Resolve, Street Drum Corps, Army Of Me, Straylight Run, The Used (Saturday May 10th, 2008 - The Rialto Theatre) Best concert ever. Except for falling into the mosh pit somehow (but I got picked up fast!) during The Used and getting hit in the head with a drum stick from Lights Resolve. I could have met Jepha Howard...he was like less than three feet away from me outside...inside after the concert the singer of Lights Resolve talked me into buying their EP (I felt bad after saying no three times...)

Drive A, Hawthorne Heights, Atmosphere, Alkaline Trio, Bullet For My Valentine, Pennywise, Atreyu (Sunday Sept. 28th, 2008 - Tucson Electric Park) Really bad sunburn later...still awesome.

??? no idea...probably a local band...I think they have a song called Hero...if anyone knows tell me!...JuneFightJuly, The Endless Endeavor, Ice Nine Kills, I See Stars, Oceana, LoveHateHero, Eyes Set To Kill, Before Their Eyes (Wednesday Nov. 5th, 2008 - The Rock) Akissforjersey were going to play but their van broke down like a week before they came here...ESTK and BTE were awesome. ESTK didn't really move around...

The Airborne Toxic Event, Cold Wars Kids, Death Cab For Cutie (Saturday Dec. 13th, 2008 - TCC Exhibition Hall) I felt really sick that day and almost didn't go...it was cool but I couldn't wait for it to end because of how I felt lol...two old creepy guys talked to me during Death Cab. It was creepy...Death Cab played President Of What? !

The Bled, The Used (Tuesday March 24th, 2009 - The Rialto Theatre) The drummer for The Bled gave me a free shirt! And I met 3/4 of The Used! I was really close to the stage too, like only one person was infront of me.

Ph8, Red, Escape The Fate, Anberlin, Hollywood Undead, Korn (Saturday April 25th, 2009 - Tucson Electric Park) I missed 2/3 local bands because I got there late :( I don't really remember this concert, but that's probably because I almost passed out right when Escape The Fate went on and I wasn't even in the crowd...I was going to be taken to the hospital if my heart rate or something didn't slow down.

I Bet It Was A Massacre, Eyes Set To Kill, Sky Eats Airplane (Saturday June 20th, 2009 - The Rock) In Fear And Faith and The Word Alive were on that tour too but TWA's singer got sick and I have no idea what happened with InFAF...Jerry Roush (SEA) kept throwing up on stage...then after the concert by the merch tables he took off his shirt and rung it out and it was like soaked...it was the grossest/most awesome thing I've seen in person.

Neiphi, Watchout! There's Ghosts, Eyes Set To Kill, He Is Legend, Drop Dead, Gorgeous (Wednesday July 15th, 2009 - The Rock) Some of the bands were way better than I thought (HIL...I'm not into their music but they were pretty cool)

Fallborn, Eyes Set To Kill, Paper Tongues, The Misfits, Flyleaf, The Used, Rise Against (Saturday Oct. 23rd, 2009 - Pima County Fairgrounds) Met Rise Against and The Used at the Zia Records tent for signings...Bert McCracken wore one of my A7X gloves on stage! My glasses fell off during The Used and I found them like 30 seconds later not crushed! I was in the group of more than ten people who fell during Take It Away...but I was on the outside of the group so I got picked up fast! I thought I was going to die during Rise Against and my shoe fell off during the second song and I couldn't put it back on til the middle of the next song ( with some help :) ) I was on my way out of the crowd when I was trying to get my shoe back on then I went back in later for a few more songs

A Lot Like Murder, Paper Poets, When Death Becomes You, Dreaming Of Eden, Eyes Set To Kill (Sunday Nov. 15th, 2009 - The Rock) Pre-sale tickets came with soundcheck, meet & greet, bracelet and a signed poster...I kind of talked to Caleb Clifton (ESTK drummer) and Alexia Rodriguez (ESTK singer) and the Dreaming Of Eden members I spoke to liked my Goosebumps shirt :)

I'm not going to any concerts soon...there's a few I kind of want to go to...

I want to see Scary Kids Scaring Kids! They're on their final tour right now and only had one AZ show (they're from AZ too...)

Oh and I was meant to see All Time Low the day before I saw Cobra Starship too. But they couldn't play because their sound people didn't show up or something..
But I still met them so it was all good :]

I saw this country group, I don't remember their name.
The singing was good, the dancing around me was not so fun.
I didn't not have a good time, I perfer CDs.

But, I'd love to go see Michael Buble.
As far as I know, they have seats, kind of like a broadway show. That I can handle.
If you call that a concert.

I would also like to see Jack Johnson, Eric Hutchinson, A Fine Frenzy, and Carbon Leaf.

Aaron carter x2 (can't remember who with or what tour)
Hannah montana (NEVER AGAIN!)
-aly and AJ
-Jonas bros.
Jonas brothers
-WYLMITE w/ Rooney
-Burnin' up w/ demi lovato and the veronicas
-WRLD tour- w/ jordin sparks, honnor society and the wonder girls
Nick Jonas and the Administration
Who i Am w/ diane birch
private accostic set
Jimmy buffett
-jake shimabukero (sp)
Barry manallowx2 (with grandparents)

upcoming:
the grand old opry- miranda lambert
Jonas brothers world tour 10 w/ VIP seats!!!!!!!:woohoo:

1998 - Backstreet Boys
2001 - N*Sync
2006 - Cute Is What We Aim For, Envy on the Coast, As Tall As Lions
2007 - Cobra Starship, The Academy Is..., Gym Class Heroes (perfect for the snakes on a plane song, even though Sisky pulled a Lil' John on the rap part), and Tyga
2009 - Cobra Starship, Boys Like Girls, VersaEmerge, A Rocket to the Moon, The Maine

I haven't been to that many amazing concerts. Most of then were pretty lame.

But I've seen:
Hannah Montana (Aly & AJ opened)
Justin Bieber ( IYAZ and Kaci Battaglia opened)
Danny Gokey
Demi Lovato
Ashley Tisdale
Sean Kingston

And I'm seeing the Black Eyed Peas next month.

I'm freaking jealous! I SO WANT TO SEE BILLY TALENT!

I went with my cousin to AP Tour last April (the first) and saw A Rocket To The Moon, Hit The Lights and Family Force 5. The Maine and 3!Oh3 were there too, but I was feeling sick so I left after FF5 since they were the band that I went there to see.

THIS April (because I apparently only go to concerts in April that have Family Force 5 at them :P), I'm going to The Rock And Worship Roadshow with my daddy. It has MercyMe, David Crowder*Band, Family Force 5 (the reason I'm going! :D I love them so much xD), Francesca Battistelli, Remedy Drive and Sidewalk Prophets. It's on April 2nd and I don't think I've ever been this excited for anything in my life (with the exception of Disneyland ;D).

hmm let's see...i've seen;

High School Musical Tour; back in dec 2006. i went with my sister, my cousin, my BF, my BFF & her BF who was visiting for england. We were all 16+ yr olds who love HSM and I swear we were the oldest people there. It was fun tho lol
Some weird little girl called jordan something opened...so we not very good.

Beastie Boys; Sept 2007, went with on of my BFFs, Mark. It was soooo so much fun!!! I LOVE the Beastie Boys. Chromeo opened and they were awesome. The concert was amazing. Mark & I went to much on demand the day before to meet the Beasties, we saw them, but we didn't get a pic or anything.

Jack Johnson; Aug 2008, was supposed to go with my BF, Derek but his lacrosse team made it to finals so he couldn't come :sad2: (which sucks cuz i got him the tickets for his bday!!) i wound up taking my sister, it was pretty much the greatest concert ever. Rogue Wave, Mason Jennings & Neil Halstead opened, all were amazing. They had this environmental festival going on beforehand, and they had a photobooth and before the concert they had pics from the photobooth on the jumbo screen & my picture was up there!!! haha it was a great concert...and my parents came to pick us up early and two people gave them free tickets so they got to go too!! (long story jeez! haha)

Jonas Brothers; Aug 2009, went with my sister & her friend. SO MUCH FUN!! Jordan Sparks opened, she was amazing...also some random band from korea (i think?) the wonder chicks or something? and some other band i've never heard of honour society or something? but the Jo Bros were great, and Demi Lovato was a surprise guest to sing the camp rock songs with them (cuz after the concert they were starting to film camp rock 2 and demi was in town already i guess) it was fuuuuntimes!

American Idols Season 3 Tour (Fantasia/LaToya/Diana DeGarmo/etc.)
Hilary Duff (LOL she lipsynched the entire show)
Evanescence (amazing)
Jonas Brothers World Tour '09 (Honor Society/WonderGirls/Jordin Sparks) (AMAZING!!!)
Demi Lovato/David Archuleta (again, amazing)

COMING UP:

TAYLOR SWIFT!! JUNE 5!!

I've seen 2 American Idol shows (seasons 7 and 8), and 2 SYTYCD shows (seasons 4 and 5) and they are so fun. :) I got to meet most of the season 8 Idols and all of the season 5 dancers afterwards, which was amazing. Getting to have a 5 minute chat with Jeanine, the winner of season 5 SYTYCD was awesome. :)

Here's a link to the review of American Idol 8 that I did for idolforums.com: http://idolforums.com/index.php?showtopic=622886

Here's one to the review of SYTYCD5. : http://idolforums.com/index.php?showtopic=629573

I've also seen a bunch of Canadian Idol stuff (top 3 tour and one of the winners), and I'm seeing Hedley this April. :)

Death Cab for Cutie
The Hush Sound
Motion City Soundtrack
and I'll edit this with more when I think of them.
