How long do the concerts last during the Mardi Gras celebration
at US? The website gives a start time of 8:30p.m. but does not
give an end time. We are staying at the HRH with a small child
and I do not want to hear music til the wee hours.
Will the noise level reach us at the hotel (garden room) or should I transfer our reservation to say, the Portifino? Also, do these concerts affect the crowd levels at the parks significantly?

The concerts will probably be about an hour and a half,I've seen some shorter and some longer but most are about 1.5.The parks definitely get crowded for Mardi Gras, the entertainers start coming out around 4-5pm,the food booths also open up with the parade starting about 8pm followed by the concert.I can't answer whether or not you can hear the music in the HRH,but I doubt it's a problem.

We were there last week to see Foreigner, the concert ended at 11:00.
Just try to leave a few minutes early- it's the same as after the fireworks at Disney with everyone trying to get out at the same time.

And...you still have the parking structures to deal with.

Thanks for all the info. As US fills for the concert in the early evening, maybe we could head over to IOA and visit WWOHP with reasonable crowds.
Has anyone noticed smaller crowds at IOA when there is a concert
at US?
Hmmm...perhaps this is a blessing in disguise!
