The parade usually starts around 8pm and the concert around 9pm...I haven't seen a posted schedule with the actual start times anywhere.

All the indicators are there that tonight (with Kelly clarkson) will be packed to the gills, to a degree that happens very rarely. They are forming a special line to get near the stage for this, probably very early if you want to get anywhere close to the stage.

Valet parking will be nice going in, but the sheer volume heading out may take a while. Heck just getting out of the parking garage post concert with normal parking may take an hour or more. (Getting in if you arrive around 5 or later may take a while too, even with all the parking booths open) Add the fact that the Bay Hill Invitational Golf Tournament is going on (and they use Universal for parking for it) that will add to some of it, but not too much.

If you want to Exit during the concert, or after, I seriously recommend walking along the left side of Monsters (Where the mardi gras food and bars are) around the back toward Hollywood blvd to get out, don't even try going through the concert area. Or even by Shrek. They will likely open the big "Red Carpet Gates" to let people out (maybe even the seldom used entrance/exit to the left of Guest Services), but it will still be crazy.

Batroom wise, there is one by Twister toward the stage, one on the left. One by Mels, one by the Exit (near guest services) one by the exit near the turnstiles, and one outside the park that will probably be least crowded far to the left after you walk out the exit gates.

and this is why they can't get musicians that are this popular. some people wonder why they dont have all the artists be current and popular. you probably won't enjoy your time b/c of heavy volume of people. I would recommend either leaving before the concert is over or staying for a movie after.

I dont like the way the stage is set up currently. It can't hold as many people as the old one. I went for BNL. I was just standing in the street far away but had a good view of center stage and was told to leave. um.. I'm in the street w/ people all around me, that was a challenge. They were clearing the street, I have no idea why and then I was on a curb and told I couldn't stand on the curb. ha. I don't know how you are supposed to see then. The stage seems not as far back as before b/c of the coaster. Also there are baricades everywhere which weren't there before which would limit the amount of people. I dont like the new food/merch booths on either side of the place. I used to stand behind that area to see and could be away from people but now I would have to watch a video screen. Also, the sound was terrible far back. I think there is only speakers in the front by the stage, I was in the back and couldn't hear anything that was being said.

It was so packed there sat night you could not believe it wall to wall people as far as you could see.It took about 30 minutes to get out our parking spot after the concert, it would have been more than a hour more if the parking attendents didn't tell yes to go down the up ramp to get out

Just an FYI....

The remainder of the concerts are starting between 9:30 and 10pm. Tonight's MC Hammer concert starts at 9:45pm.
