has anyone ever bought tickets (from the UK) for an event in the US? i'm looking at US ticketmaster and hoping to buy tickets for a music event in orlando in sept when we're there...

No, but I've done it the other way around and got tix for my stepson to see the Singling kettle in Scotland. It should be ok if you use a credit card. My DD lives in FL and uses Groupon for some really good rates for concerts so you might want to check that first. :wave2:
 
I have used Stub Hub many times for US sporting events, purchased them from here in the UK and either just printed them off or went to Will Call at the venue.
 
I went to see Kelly Clarkson in Tampa got my tickets through ticketmaster and picked them up at will call. Concerts are totally different in the States people sat when she preformed not the same atmosphere as here :).
 

I have used them for a sports event (baseball) no probs did the will call option and collected at the stadium, have also used stub hub for sports events and done exactly the same! Enjoy!

its via ticketmaster at raymond james stadium, tampa, so will try for will call collection ;)
