Concert Thread

This is a thread where you can talk about concerts you have been to or you are going to.

I have been to a Rush concert, and also saw The Who in Concert.

The Rush concert was when they were having there 30 years tour and I saw it at PNC Bank Art Center...and it was just awesome even though it rained the whole time. People were sliding down mud and the music was just awesome.

The Who concert I also saw at PNC and it was just a perfect night. No clouds, no rain, and we just tailgated until the concert started.

Concerts I am going to see is:Jason Mraz at Radio City Music Hall, and The Who at the IZOD Center(aka the old Continental Airlines Arena)

i saw the taste of chaos tour with avenged sevenfold, atreyu, and bullet for my valentine. that concert was so cool and crazy at the same time because so many pits were popping up out of nowhere, lol.

then i saw a local music festival with a bunch of bands, but the ones i mainly went for was atreyu, everlast, pennywise, and cypress hill. that was a cool expierence because i was with my family just walking around having fun, (a little to much fun for my cousins that got drunk) lol, the highlight was
moshing during cypress hill at the end of the concert during the song rock superstar.

This year I saw Sugarland in concert. It was a free concert that my local country radio show hosts every years for their anniversary. My friend knows someone who works for the radio station, so she got us some "reserved" seats, and we were pretty close.

I also went to Kenny Chesney's Poets and Pirates tour this year. It was by far the best concert I've ever been too!

And I also went to Jimmy Buffetts Year of Still Here tour, which was awesome too!

I've been to a few other concerts in previous years. My first ever concert was the Dixie Chicks..waaay back in 2003. lol I was in 7th grade I think.

And then this summer I'll be going to the anniversary show again, and Kenny Chesney's concert again. Those are the definite ones. Hopefully some other people come around my area sometime. =D

I saw Simple Plan almost a week ago. Faber Drive and Cute Is What We Aim For were touring with them. Faber Drive was pretty good, and Cute is What We Aim For was.... well they're definitely talented and happy to be ons tage, but I couldn't understand a thing that guy was saying.

Simple Plan was much better than the last time I saw them. They looked happy to be back on tour. They had much better lights and props and stuff. I might find a picture somewhere if I can. I couldn't get a good one myself. They had about 5 'the concert is over' songs....
The girl in front of me was nuts... she was like acting out the feelings to the songs... caught the attention of the lead singer a few times xD

Cute is crazy on stage. I saw them in 2006 at Warped Tour, and you're right understanding him is hard. But they are amazing!!!!
