Ok, first off, I'm a mom, not a teen. But, I just got Jonas Brothers tickets for my daughter (8). It will be her first concert. What can I do to make it super special for her?

Make sure to get her merchandise from the concert! I know that if I was going to my first JB concert or any concert whatsoever I would want merchandise.

Ususally a t-shirt is perfect.
I suggest getting it before the concert starts, and letting her wear it during the show.

Thats the way I remember my first concert :goodvibes:

Thank you! We will definitely be getting t-shirts. (I'm hoping they'll even have some in my size!) Anything else that we need? I'm thinking I may head to the dollar store & pick up a lot of glow sticks that she can wear.

I like the glow sticks idea.

What time is the concert? It might be really special to her to go out to dinner before hand.

Awww, that's a good idea. ^.^

So they can wave them during the slow songs? xD

Maybe go out to eat somewhere before the show so you don't have to wait in line to get food.

I'm sure she'll have a good time.
I don't like the JBs, but those who do like them have fun with anything where they're involved..haha.

I remember when I was 6, just my parents telling me that we got Aaron Carter tickets was enough to keep me happy for a LONG time.

When the Jonas Brothers came to where I lived I remembered seeing a lot of little girls with plain white shirts and colored them markers. They also had glasses and hats. I thought it was pretty cool. Actuall whenever I see people going all out for something I think its cool.

Making signs to hold up is fun :)

^^ITA with making your own t-shirts. That way, they can say whatever you want them to say!

I agree with making your own shirts.
She'll probably be more proud wearing her own Jonas fan shirt than one she bought at the concert, and the ones at the concerts can get insanely expensive.

I love the glow stick idea.
For one JB concert I went to, there were 2 girls who wrapped themselves in glow necklaces. Their seats were far away, but everyone could see them, and the Jonas Brothers waved at them a couple of times because of it.

Be sure to make signs before you go. Make sure they're not too big, or people behind you won't be able to see and the security guards may confiscate them.
Use a lot of glitter and glow-in-the-dark paint to make them stand out. The more original it is, the more attention your daughter will likely get from JB on stage.

You really don't have to buy any expensive concert merchandise to make it memorable for your daughter.

Have fun!

take her out to dinner or something.

buy some jonas brothers stuff before you go like at limited too or something they have pins, totes, cute shirts, etc. and its cheaper than at the concert.

or maybe let her invite a friend or cousin or something

just ideas

have fun

Limited too, has some nice Jonas stuff.
Like Shirts, Posters and pins.
If your planning on buying her a shirt, I would recomend going to Limited too.
To make her concert really special, you should help her make
a sign to the jonas, for her to hold up @ the concert.
Those are really fun to make, I made one yesterday at a concert I went it to.
They are really simple to make, all you need is cardstock paper and markers.

My little sister's going to her first concert on Wednesday night, and it's also a Jonas Brothers concert.

We're making shirts and posters, even though our seats are going to be kinda far back, and I might talk my mom into getting glow sticks, as well.

make posters , and t-shirts with her .

also if you havent already told her about it , make it a suprise .

tell her your going to the doctors or something she hates .. and then it would seem SOO much better haha .

all the ideas are great.

the glow stick idea is really good.
i'm going to have to mass buy some of those before my jonas brothers concert in the end of august.

if you haven't given her the tickets yet, maybe make a cute game out of in involving the jonas brothers?

Thanks everyone for the great ideas! I really wanted to surprise her with this, but I was so excited that I told her as soon as I bought the tickets. Oh well! It was still fun!

yea i agree with most people
