Concerned: will we be seeing codes for the general public again?

Are the days of general public codes going the way of the horse and buggy?

MYW and the big TV campaign to promote it may be filling enough rooms that Disney doesn't need to offer additional incentives.

I think I saw people talking about using codes but what are these? AP codes or the elusive post card offers?

What do you all think?

Me too - and by the way, how do you get those postcards and email offers? We have been to Disney 5 times in the past 4 years and have never received one - and I have signed up on line and booked on line. Also my friend had her wedding there - you would think that she'd get something.

Have you ever tried using your house number off by one number and putting your last name first and first name last and saying you have never been? I signed up on the net last year to get infoa and said Truth we have never been and two weeks later we got one. said we were interested in going in mid sept.

Keep in mind that the last general public room-only code was good for stays thru 4/16/05. It may have expired in December but it still covered dates that have not passed as of yet. I believe that Disney will issue general public codes around the same time that AP codes and (perhaps) Disney VISA codes come out. That would probably be some time in mid-March. All we can do is wait and hope.

Would be very interested to see Disney Visa codes. They have had deals for Hilton Head, but have not seen anything good from them in a while...
