Quick question. All of my online check in has been completed, except the indentification info because my DH is awaiting his passport renewal. If this process takes a couple more weeks does that mean that our check in time will be super late? This is our first Cruise so we are super excited toget aboard! Thanks!:)

If this is your first cruise, you may be a later check in as the higher status level cruisers get earlier dibs at check in times.

Just select the non-passport option for now so you can select an arrival time. Once the passport arrives, go back and update that information.

Thanks for the super quick responses! I just tried to enter
no passport info and it wont accept it. Could it be because we require a passport to enter the U.S? Dont mean to sound ditzy lol!!:confused3

I think that is why. Since you are no US Citizens, you have to have a passport for DCL. You will still get on the ship, you may have a couple of less hours than others to explore after boarding, but your room should be ready!

Do you have to have a printer accessible at the time of online check in,or can you complete the process and print what is needed at a later date?

I haven't done online checkin in a few months, but can you get to the part of selecting a port arrival time without entering his information, or does it stop the whole process until everyone is entered?

You won't be able to get to port arrival time until you've completed everything else (that section will be grayed out until the rest is finished).

No it stops me at his identification. I completed mine and our two sons but it wont let me bypass him and go the checkin time :sad2: ugh! I told him to start the process of renewing sooner lol! well we should get it within the next week or so, so fingers crossed we may get some time onboard before everything begins! thanks again for eveyones input! Great thing to be a part of and cant wait for our first Disney cruise woohoo:yay::yay::yay:

Nothing "begins" until life boat drill and sail away party. Lunch is served at Cabanas and Enchanted Garden as well ar one of the fast food places near the pool. Palo and Remy reservations can be made if needed, you can do the kids club reservation on line. So you won't miss a lot, the ship won't leave with out you!

When doing online checkin for the WBTA cruise last year, my passport was out for renewal. DCL had my passport number from a prior cruise, but knew that the expiration had passed or was approaching so it flagged my record. It's possible that I *may* have gotten around that limitation by entering a reasonable date during checkin, then going back and entering the actual date once I had passport in hand, prior to my cruise. It's been awhile so my memory may be foggy....

But they are Canadians, not US Citizens, so DCL must have the passport info.

If I want to get to the port check in time ASAP to fight off all the other midnighters, could I just enter BS for everything (name: mickey mouse), get the check in time I want, and then go back and correct everything before printing?

Port check in usually doesn't open until 8am on "the day", at least that has been most people's experience.
