We will be renting points for BCV in Sept. Is it possible to upgrade to conceirge level? if so how much does it cost?

You are thinking of the Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, they have concierge service. The Disney Vacation Clubs do not.

One additional service that you can buy is maid service, which is not daily in the DVC. Whether or not you want someone else to clean your room is a matter of preference.

You can purchase "access" to the concierge level at the BC and YC. It is not always available but for an additional fee, you can walk over them and get all the amenities...I don't know the specifics, but seem to remember it was $50/day or so. I am sure the front desk could get you the specifics

When we stayed YC Concierge last October one of the CM's was on the phone with someone staying in the villas.

I asked her if anyone stayin at BCV ever asked for concierge access. She said a few and that it was $100 per night extra.

I wonder if they base it upon the occupancy of the villa. Eight people staying in a 2B would obviously have far greater use of the Concierge services than one or two in a studio.

Very, very interesting. :scratchin .
I have not heard that concierge can be purchased by DVC members. Is this only available at BCV, or is it also available at VWL?
I really wish it could be purchased with points...

I wish it could be purchased at VWL. I would do it in a minute!!!

Maybe someone should try and ask for it next time they check into VWL and report back here.

For $100 a day, you can walk over to my room and I'll give you OJ and cereal. I'll even have gummy bears for the kids in the afternoon.

What a laugh I had Deb ~ it was perfect.

This could be a DVC niche! I will also offer concierge level of service to renters who want to visit! Gummy Bears, OJ maybe even a muffin for the bargain price of $99.99 (tax included)

Thanks for the laugh:wave:

Concierge at the BCV? Even if it could be purchased, does that mean you'd have to walk to another building to get your free snacks?
