Conan O'Brien to replace Jay Leno in 2009

I love Jay Leno....will be sorry to see him replaced (unless it was Johnny Carson replacing him!)

I can't wait until Conan replaces Leno. Leno can't deliver a monologue like Letterman can.

I can see how some people see would think Conan is annoying. He is a little high strung. At the same time, he has a very quick wit. Go Conan!

Count me in the group sorry to see Jay go - but glad to see Conan on a little earlier! Having been to a Tonight Show taping, I'm wondering if Conan will move out to LA. Since they currently tape the show in Burbank, I hope they continue to do so.

I couldn't stand Conan when Letterman left for CBS and Conan took over. I was in college and we had a big viewing party to see Letterman's replacement. Nobody in the room liked him. He just doesn't have enough class to host the Tonight Show IMHO.

I like Conan a lot better than Jay, but Letterman is the best.

The best late night talk show of my lifetime had to be the New Tom Green Show on MTV at midnights last summer. GREAT show, entirely different from his first series.

Jay Leno!!! I think he is an absolute gentleman.

Cannot stand Letterman...he's an overgrown idiot and not fond at all of Conan though I liked the Simpsons and he was a writer for so long. Go figure?

But like my husband pointed out this morning. The young people of today (My DD 17 likes him) like Conan and are the next generation of Tonight show viewers and they'll grow along with Conan.
