Is there a place at the business center at the Boardwalk where you can use the internet and print? I am wondering about doing online check-in for our flight home. The airline we are flying does not assign seats until check-in and I fear if we wait until we get to the airport we will be scattered all over the plane.

Yes.

I've used the computer (or tried to) on the past three trips at the BW Business Center. Twice the printer wasn't working properly. The folks at the business center were nice but not able to resolve the technical problems.

Be sure to check the hours of operation. I don't remember it being open every day. Occasionally there will be a small line of people at opening time.

There is also a business center at the Yacht & Beach Club which has three computer stations. We had good success there.

Good luck.

I used the computer at the BW Convention Center (I am pretty sure it's not called business center, but I imagine we're talking about the same place) when I was there in September. It was open 9 to 4 M-F, not sure about weekends. I didn't have any problems with the printer. I used it twice and never had to wait, but it was very uncrowded everywhere, theme parks included, when I was there. I only saw two computers, so I can certainly see how waits could develop. FWIW I thought the cost was exorbitant--$9.95 for 15 minutes.

They used to have these cute little computer kiosks by the phone banks in just about all the Deluxe WDW resorts (including BW) and there were a couple in each of the theme parks. They were reasonably priced and almost always easily accessible with little or no wait. For some reason they took them all out. :badpc: :sad2:

Where are all of the business centers at WDW ? I prefer to leave the laptop at home.

But if I have to bring the laptop is the in room safe secure enough?

Thanks,

Phyllis

The room safe is too small for a laptop. I use a cable lock.

Last Spring Break, while staying at OKW, my husband had an MBA project to finish. We brought our laptop, but it was new and we had a problem with it. Anyway to make a long story short, he needed a computer with internet access for an extended period of time and we ended up at the Kissimmee Public Library. If you have plenty of time, that is an option. It's about a 30 minute drive though. Boardwalk didn't seem like a good option because of the cost and limited number of computers. We were very surprised that such a big resort didn't have more options!
