Computer tech question...

I am glad to see that I am not the only one with cooling issues - I got my dh to cut two boards about 1x1x8. I put those under the two edges of my computer to lift it off the table so more air can get underneath. This has worked most of the time except when the temperature gets above 90 degrees outside! (We don't have air conditioning.)

Rotate a couple of ice packs! and get a small fan to blow underneath it.... It really helps!

Ok well I broke down and called the Cable internet people. They will be here Thursday!!!



edited to add... I was going to wait a bit to buy my new computer, but as I was playing pirates with bug bug just about an hour ago (and 57th in line for host) my dumbo computer shut down. It didn't feel hot, but then again I didn't have meh ice pack on it...

Soooooooooo with Bug's help I will soon have a tottally tweeked out new desktop sometime in the next week or so!
