I have downloaded some video clips of a tv program I like. I would like to edit them, so I only have the scenes I like and then make a DVD out of them. These are wmv files and it says it's not supported by the program I have. Does anyone have any tips or know how on how to edit and then record a DVD? My computer is about 4 years old!

I am no expert, but I recently was looking into how to make a DVD from some clips I had downloaded from a camcordere and it seems like computers do not have the programs to download it to a dvd. WindowsXP has a program that may be already on your computer called "Windows Moviemaker" and this does basic editing and will download it to a cd but to get it to a DVD you will have to buy a program like "Ulead" or "Pinnacle" and install it on your computer. I checked prices at BestBuy and it looked like a basic dvd burning program was about $30 and the more elaborate ones (not professional, though) could go up into the 100's.
