Computer Program Problem

I am trying to access Microsoft Word and it will start to open up and then all of a sudden it will shut completely down. Anyone know why this may be happening?

I saw this happen on my neighbor's PC. I fixed it by re-installing Microsoft Word.

If it's not already too late . . . . be aware that by totally re-installing you will lose any custom words in your dictionary & anything you entered in the "auto correct." These files can be saved elsewhere & copied back, though.

Do you get a message saying that a particular file can't be found? If so, you can occasionally find them on the Office CD - ir it you have another computer nearby with Office, you could copy the file from one system to the other.
