Computer Players in Pirates

Is that why sometimes I don't get any credits when I know I've hit the other people? Cause of the computer players? How do they change things?

I'm STILL trying to figure out how the points/credits system works...as far as gameplay goes, all I know is that you can be hitting people just fine, but if you get killed all your points get sucked down the drain. No points, no credits.

I got the '0 credits' message once back when the new game first came out. It made me laugh enough that I put it in my signature, as you can see.
