Hello! I'm having a tough time finding information on complimentary tickets work with MDE and FP+ and I'm hoping someone might know the answer.

I have four complimentary Magic Your Way tickets. When they were given to us, the resort guest services manager said that we would pick them up at the ticket booth at any of the parks and Disney Springs.

We are booked at BCV in March and have some purchased tickets and want to combine these free ones to use. I'm going to be able to book FP's next week, and it got me thinking about how I am going to link those free ones to MDE account to book FP's. Is that even possible?

Would those tickets have any sort of number attached to them that perhaps the guest services manager could provide?

Any help would be appreciated!

I'm a little confused about the timing. Did you already pick them up at the ticket booth and so you have them physically? If so, it's easy peasy to add them to MDE - they work just like regular tickets for that purpose. If not, I imagine if you call they should be able to link them, but hopefully Robo or someone who knows more will chime in.

As for "combining them" that's probably not really possible, so think about how best to use them. We had four comp tickets on our last trip, and rather than each person using one day, one person used all four of the comp passes as a make-shift four day park hopper. It was a lot cheaper that way than having the extra day be added to each person's trip.

You unfortunately won't be able to book for those Comp Tickets until they are issued to you at WDW.

You can use your linked ticket entitlements to book for your priority FP park days and then book the others after your Comps are issued and linked.

I don't have them yet. We're only going for 4 days, so I was going to pick up all 4 comp tickets when I get there, and then I purchased 4 day park hoppers for the rest of the family. This creates an issue because I want to be able to get FP's with my kids and right now it looks like I don't have tickets under my name.

:( Do you think it's worth reaching out to the guest services manager at the hotel who issued them to me? I have her contact info with the ticket details. Or are these tickets never issued any kind of number that I could add to MDE?

You can always ask if she can ask to have the Comp Tickets linked directly to your MDE account.

I know when we had a minor issue at Contemp, I didn't even have to give any MDE info and Contemp linked three Anytime FPs to each person in our account.

It's always worth a try. Hope it works! :)

That is an EXCELLENT suggestion! If they can't link mine, maybe they would be nice enough to provide some FP tickets for me to use with my kids! Thanks! I feel much better now that I have another avenue to explore.

FYI - you mention park hopper tickets for the rest of the family - therefore, I assume you will be park hopping. The 4 separate tickets you pick up for yourself won't be hoppers. That may be an issue for you.

They are complimentary park hoppers.
