Hi girls.

Just wondering the best way to get a tower room with a magic kingdom view for our complimentary night.

We want to stay on the night of our wedding and the night after so we would like to ensure that we stay in the same room for both nights.

Do all tower rooms have a magic kingdom view or do you need to specifically request this ?

Also how do we book the comp room? Do we need to book and pay for it then get a refund?

Any photos gratefully looked at :)

Hi!!

I just booked my Magic Kingdom Tower room about four months ago.
I specified to my coordinator, and then to my planner that we wanted MK view. Otherwise, they were going to stick us in the wings. And yes, half the tower has a view of Bay Lake and the pool behind the Resort, so be sure and specify that you want the MK side. There is a difference in cost. Specify almost to the point of annoyance..thats what I did. :rotfl:

My coordinator, Stacy, booked the room for DF and I right after we sent back the contract. About a week later we got the confirmation in the mail for one night. All I had to do was call the wedding reservation number (thats on the website) and add our other two nights. It cost us about 324 per night, in value season.. Way to much, but we did it anyway.

Good luck, just let you planner know exactly what you want, and they will take care of it for you!

Hi,

Did your co-ordinator book a tower room with the MK view for you ? I thought the comp room was just a standard room??

The comp room is CF, concierge floor. And we payed for two additional nights on the same reservation.

Stacy, my initial wedding coordinator, booked our room. This was done before we ever even met our planner.

But Linz you're right it is supposed to be the Standard Room at The Contemporary and brides are told not to expect a Tower Room Theme Park View for their comp room at The Contemporary especially whilst all the building work is currently going on.

I'd say jessesgirl got lucky with that being booked for her :)

Our comp night was at the Contemporary and it was not on the concierge floor - in fact it was to be exactly as Sam mentioned, a standard room. As we were staying other nights at the Contemp in an MK Tower view room we were upgraded magically for our one night... but it wasn't guaranteed :)
