Complicated WL question

We're staying 4 nights in early March. Wed and Thurs at SSR, and Fri and Sat at BWV, both are 2 bedroom. We're waitlisted for Wed and Thurs for 2 bedroom at AKV, VWL and BWV. I called today to see if any 3 room villas are available, and it is only Thursday night at AKV. We really don't want to stay at 3 different places for a 4 day trip. So I was hoping for some input on my odds for the waitlist. Do we have a better chance of getting a 2 bedroom at AKV, VWL or BWV for both Wed and Thurs getting a 3 bedroom for Wed at AKV? I hope this makes sense, but the long and short of it is do we have better luck waitlisting 2 nights for a 2 bedroom vs or 1 night for a 3 bedroom.
:confused3

Tough call. I went to the Disney website checking cash prices for 3/15. It's the only day that we are missing for our next DVC trip. I asked for a moderate for the night and the website tried to sell me a AKV Grand Villa. A little over kill for the two of us. :confused3

This is what I usually do but since you are so close to your reservation date it is probably not practical.

What I do is to call occasionally and book “pieces” as they come available (if you have enough points without borrowing and are still outside the 31 day range). I am willing to “take the chance” of canceling my less desirable reservation since I travel at less busy times. You can just book the pieces (or your backup reservation) under a different name if you have the points but I do not due to reasons of conscience. If you have the points for a GV why don’t you waitlist for that also.

Further out I would book the AKV and leave your 2-day waitlist for the 2brs in place, along with the others and add a 1-day waitlist to match the AKV reservation.
