Complicated point allocation question

Assume the following:
BWV Owner with 150 points
Used 100 BWV for Nov 06 Reservation
Used 50 2006 points and 25 borrowed 2007 points for Feb 2007 reservation (made at 7 month mark)
Used 60 borrowed 2007 points for April 2007 vacation
So now I've borrowed 85 2007 points and only have 65 left for 2007 reservation if I don't want to borrow from 2008
(Bottom line, I really should buy more points!) But can't afford that now.
If I could find someone with 50 (2006?) points to transfer to my account, sometime between now and January, could I ask member services to use those 50 transferred points for my Feb trip, thereby freeing up my 50 2006 so that I could bank my points, since I know you can't bank borrowed points. This assumes the points tranfered to me are not holding points.
BTW, I just made up points for illustration purposes, I don't have the exact point numbers in front of me.

Technically, there is no compensation for transferred points according to the POS.

From your travel history, it looks like you need more points. What is your Use Year? If it is early in the calendar year, you won't be in such bad condition, but if it is late in the calendar year, you will have a long dry spell with no Disney vacations.

Yes, you can ask MS to use your newly transferred 06 points but it will based on availability of the room to reserve at that time.

It will be easier to bank the transferred 06 points to your 07 UY or to get a transfer of 07 points into your 07 UY.

Easiest of all would be to borrow from your 08 UY for ressies in your 07 UY and worry about your 08 ressies when you get to them. By then, you may feel financially ready to buy more points, or confortable with borrowing 09 points or you may have cancelled a planned vacation and already have enough points.
