complicated fastpass question

Hi, I have a question about booking fastpasses and hope I can explain my situation so it's easy to understand. My family is going to WDW in November and I have two separate DVC reservations. One resort for the 1st night, then switching to another resort for the remaining 4 nights. So I'm wondering if I can start my fastpass booking at the 60 day window from my 1st night's reservation, and book all my fastpasses for the full length of my trip, when technically that initial reservation is only for one night. Does that make sense? I'm thinking that since both ressies are linked in "my disney experience" that the system should recognize that I will be there for the full 5 nights. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this. Thanks for any input.
