Complicated DDP Question

Ok, this may get a bit complicated, so thank you in advance for sticking with me and trying to help me figure out if this is possible.

We are going to be going to WDW in May (myself, DH, DS16months, my Mom, and DH's adult sister). We are going to be staying at the ASMuFS (using a cast member friend's 50% discount). My DH and I have Annual Passes (which we just purchased this morning and I'm soooo excited about :cool1:...we live in Orlando, so I'll be getting good use out of these), and my Mom *may* have one by the time we go. His sister will not, as she lives in Germany.

So, my question is, is there anyway to add any of the Dining Plans to our stay? We will have a room-only ressie for the hotel, 2 annual passes for sure and possibly 3, and 1 MYW ticket (or 2 depending on my mom). I know that Disney has this "every one in the same room has to have the same package/deal" thing, but with so many variables in this, I'm not sure how or if the Dining Plan can be added to our stay.:confused3

I don't know if you can add the Dining plan with a CM discounted room. As far as the other variables: if you had an AP (ticketless) package than you could get the dining plan without everyone having the same ticket need (only 1 in the room needs to have an AP).

I think you need to compare the savings between the CM discount on the room and no DDP or AP rate with ticketless DDP. I don't think you can book ticketless DDP unless you go through AP site (Or DVC). The price difference between AP rate and CM rate probably won't be much at all especially at a Value resort but not sure when AP rates will be out for May----should be soon--- but FS may be all booked up.

Thanks for you responses. I will look into the rates for AP. This is my first time with an AP, so I don't know all the ins and outs of it yet. Do I have to wait until I get my actual Pass before I can log into the AP site, as I'm not entirely sure when I will be able to get over there with my DH to get them. And what is the AP site URL? Thanks so much!

The ticketless AP package (room + dining plan) has to be booked through the AP site. Only 1 person in the room has to have an AP so in your case it won't matter that others in the ASMu suite will have different tickets.

I would ask your CM friend if she is able to add the dining plan to the discounted room. I'm guessing that her 50% room discount you won't find a better rate on the AP site.
