Completely obsessed with checking my waitlist.

So we have a 1 beroom at OKW booked for 12/2/-12/7 , but we waitlisted both BLT and BWV. I was told that if and when it comes through it will change automatically on the members website. So how do you deal with it? I have been checking the members website at least four times a day!

Yea big time here too. Thought about calling MS to see what are the sticking points as far as days that are completely sold out. Then fretting a little more over something I have zero control over.
Though about shortening waitlist so the odds go up but I don't know if that will help.

I actually called daily (several times sometimes, shameful!) and got my waitlists by calling MS and not "waiting" it out! GL to you!!!!

Good luck to everyone! I was just as bad several weeks ago, we got part of ours by calling as well. The less days you waitlist for the better your chances are of getting it. We had 5 days waitlisted, during one of my rutine calls I was able to get three of those days....two days later the other two came through automatically.


we initially had the entire 10 day trip waitlisted (was booked at OKW- wanted to be at BCV / BWV). So the waitlists do work!

I am pretty new at it all. Made reservation at home resort (OKW) about three months ago for end of May. I had about given up on the wait list for BWV when it "came through" as I called to give my flight info for magical express. I was told it was just coinsidence. It was about 5 weeks before our check-in.

So, a waitlist will show up on the member's website if it comes through? I wasn't sure since this is the first time we've been on a waitlist. Keeping my fingers crossed for VWL!

After being filled it may take up to 7 days to be posted onto the member website.

Personally, I'm not in bad shape. I have a WL for a night in a savanna-view studio at Kidani to finish up a 3-night mini vacation, but have the night covered at SSR just in case.

Waitlist madness here as well!!! We are at SSR (2br) nov 28 - dec5 and waitlisted for BCV. I thought you could only waitlist one resort?? Did I make that up? It doesn't take much to confuse me!!!

Good luck to everyone waiting! We have been on a waitlist since mid-March for the beginning of October. We were perfectly happy with where we were booked, but wanted to be close to EPCOT for F&W.

Anyhow, after checking obsessively every day, I was pleasantly surprised to see our WL filled today!

This will be our first trip ever to WDW without our DS (only child), who goes to college this fall. The plan is to go to parents weekend at his university, and then onto Disney afterwards. My DH is hoping that looking foward to our trip will keep me from having a complete meltdown when we say goodbye. (DS's university is 500 miles from our home, so we won't get to see him much).

Now I need to find something to do with the time I spent checking my waitlist.

I have a studio at SSR waitlisted for one night in June. I can't stop checking it either, at least 3-4 times a day!

It looks as though my one night waitlist has come through! WooHoo

But I do have a question, it shows up as a separate reservation with a completely different res number. MS said it would be 'linked' which I assume means that they will be able to stay in the same room and not have to move for one night, correct?

Just checked and my waitlist for Sept 24 at BWV came through. Was only on the list for a week.
Mine too shows as a seperate reservation and wondering if I will have to move rooms for that night.
