OK, so I am completely obsessed. We just got back two weeks ago and I haven't stopped looking at these boards. I've been a Disney fan for as long as I can remember, but never knew about this site until I started planning our last vacation. I should have just walked away, but I can't!!!
Anyway, I was checking out the MNSSHP thread, and now I just have to go. The crazy thing is, my husband has agreed :love2: (I think he's a closet Disney freak like me)
Anyway, my parents live about 45 minutes away from WDW and we were planning on going to their house in Oct anyway (we'll drive). We were thinking the party on the 13th (my birthday is the 14th). We would just go over for the party and then drive back. Our kids will be 5, 3 and almost 1 by then. They are road trip veteran's so driving won't be a problem. Would it be feasible to do this? How crowded would it be that Thursday? How many tickets do they normally sell (approx)? Also do they let you in the park earlier than 7 if you only have the party ticket or would I have to have a ressie somewhere to get in with just that ticket?

Sorry for so many q's. Also, am I the only one who starts planning her next trip right after she gets back!?

Oh, you are gonna be sooooooo hooked after going to the party! It's great, we went for the first time last year on Oct. 8, a Friday. It was the first sell out of the season but also the first Friday party, apparently a lot of locals attend the weekend ones. You and your kids will love it. The kids get to dress in costue (you can too) and trick or treat. Characters are costumed as well. The parade is awesome, the park it lit spookily as well. Emai lme and I'll send you some photos we took. Plus you will be able to enter the park at 4 with your party tickets and you get a free halloween photo of your family as well.

Thanks.
One more question (Am I annoying anyone yet?) I think I read somewhere that strollers are free. Is that right does this include double strollers?

We got a stroller for free...I do remember that, but we had a single. Sorry, can't help with that, but like the previous poster said..."you are gonna be hooked"!! We did this last year and just loved it!

We did get in at 4pm with our MNSSHP Ticket...Have FUN!

Ohhh I wish my family could live 45 minutes away from WDW.....That would really help my addiction.

Unfortunately it's killing the checkbook! Hey, you only live once, right? Too bad they will only be there a couple of more years

Yes, you are the only one who starts planning her next trip as soon as she gets back. That is unless you count us who start planning as they are leaving MK on the way to the airport. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Have a wonderful time!!! :wizard: :wizard:
