***BABY UPDATE***

I really, really hate to get this PTR off to a depressing start, but since I'm also using this as a pregnancy/baby update I'll go ahead and post.

Last night at 3am I woke up to find bright red bleeding. My husband and I got dressed and headed straight to the ER. They did an exam and found that I wasn't dilated at all - my cervix was completely closed. They did urine and blood work and all was well with that as well. They also found the baby's heartbeat - it was 155. They told me to call my regular OB 1st thing monday morning and get an appointment. The OB on call put me on full bedrest until I am able to see my regular OB and she tells me differently. He says it looks good because my cervix is closed, the baby still has a good heartbeat, and my bloodwork is good but I needed to take it extremely easy. This is my 1st pregnancy and I'm very worried and scared. I will be calling my OB 1st thing tomorrow morning and demanding an apt and an ultrasound. Please keep me and my baby in your thoughts and prayers if you would.

***AIRFARE PRICES***

I know the rates for airfare for October 2009 won't be out for a while, but I'm already starting to shop around for the best deal and keep my eye on the prices. So far here's what I got:

Charlotte, NC to Orlando, FL round trip for October 2008 - $215 for 1 stop and $234 for non-stop flying US Air on Orbitz.com, Expedia.com, Kayak.com. Round trip flying United for $227 or US Air on Priceline.com, and round trip flying United for $204 on Travelocity.com.

HOWEVER - the 1 stop is flying Delta and I WILL NOT FLY DELTA!! Not after what happened with them on our trip home from our honeymoon. I'm not thrilled with airfare over $200 per person, but I'm certainly not terrified by it - I know it could be MUCH worse!!

I'm In! Sending thoughts and prayers your way as you take it easy this weekend. Let us know the update tomorrow.

WOW!! I've had 133 views and only 1 reply/subscriber!!!

Come out, come out wherever you are all you lurkers :lmao:

Congratulations! So are you on bed rest? I was on bed rest with both of my boys, but not until 34 weeks and 31 weeks respectively. So I feel for ya!

Welcome aboard and thanks so much!! I'll be sure to update tomorrow!!

Welcome aboard!! HOPEFULLY I'm only on bed rest until I see my OB regarding the bleeding and she can determine what caused it. Then I guess she'll decide if it's safe for me to resume my normal activities. I'm hoping all will be well!

It may comfort you to know that I bled with both of my pregnancys at about the same time as you & both babies came out fine. I will keep you in my prayers.

Welcome aboard!!! I'm so glad to hear you had bleeding and then had two perfect babies!! (well, I'm sorry you had bleeding.... but you know what I mean!). I saw your post on my honeymoon trip report - sorry I took you away from your work today but so glad you enjoyed my TR!! Don't worry - my pre trippie is just getting started so it shouldn't keep you up all night :rotfl2:

Congratulations on all your new beginnings! You must be very excited. Don't worry too much about the bleeding (I know, easier said than done) but it really is quite common. Your cervix being closed and the babies heart beat is a great sign. I will keep you in my thoughts. Hang in there.;)

Thank you so much and welcome aboard!! The ER doctor did tell me that 1/3 of pregnancies are accompanied by bleeding - but the sight of bright red blood scares me to death!! I plan on requesting an ultrasound from my OB within the next day or two - just for reassurance for myself and my husband.

I can only offer my opinion on Crystal Palace, Le Cellier & Ohana all are excellent choices in my opinion. We especially enjoyed Ohana, the food was delicious it's served family style, all you can eat. We had adrs for 8:20 & requested a table with a fireworks view. We not only saw Wishes but also the floating water pagent, what a wonderful memory. If you like Pooh, you will enjoy the characters at CP & the buffet is good too. Le Cellier is yummy, try the cheddar cheese soup it's great & the Filet Mignon is melt in your mouth good. I have to stop now, I'm making myself hungry.;)

Glad you enjoyed my TR and welcome aboard to my PTR!! I chose 50's because I knew my mom and dad would love the atmosphere and food choices!

We had Crystal Palace for breakfast in January and LOVED it!! We haven't tried Ohana's or Le Cellier yet.

***Dining Plan Update***

I just found this over on the Restaurant Board.

The rumor I've heard for 2009 DDP plans ... two sources neither 100% positive..

- Dining Counter Service Plan ("Lite")- Two CS meals /day plus 1 snacks a day - $26 per person

- Existing Basic Plan - Huge jump in price but now includes 1 cs / 1 ts with appetizer & gratuity again and 1 snacks - $49 per person (one source said $49 and the other said $50 something)

- Existing Deluxe Plan - Again, huge jump price still 3 TS a day but.. now includes gratuity as well : $89 per person (second source said "$90 something)

Interesting.. The introduction of the "Lite" plan would help counter the jump in price for the other two plans.. [/CENTER]

Hmmmm..... I'm not really sure how I feel about this.... We will do the deluxe dining plan, but it's now possibly $89 - $20 more than this year. Granted this does include gratuities - and with us doing mainly TS places this may actually end up saving us some money.

Welcome aboard and thanks for the prayers!

We planned our first planning it to be with our oldest son, when I found out #2 was on the way and due the same month as our trip (within days)...so we moved the trip back a month...and went to WDW with a 13 month old and a 6 week old!
