I can not thank you two enough for helping me to create my very own magic this trip! I showed the shirts to my parents and DD today and they were so impressed! I have to say that I was concerned the process of making the shirts would be very sensitive and difficult, but it was actually very simple. I used avery iron-ons bought at Wal-Mart and I have an HP Printer. The shirts were just boys Fruit of the Loom 100% cotton undershirts for DD and I used an old shirt from Eddie Bauer for myself.
Now, the shirts - as some of you know, this trip is a gift to my 9yo DD and I from my parents. We are all going together so the shirts that say "My Amma & Afi gave me the world" and "My Mom & Dad gave me the world" are for us to wear to give my parents the credit they so much deserve while the 4 of us are their together!
Now, my DD's name is Johanna (pronounced Yo-Hanna) so I asked OrcaPotter to help me design something that did kind of a play-on the words, she did a beautiful job, I am very happy with the end result! Now everyone cross their fingers and hope that a CM will help us get a table that week at the restaurant, because we have NO ADR's!!! (sorry the pics are blurry, I quickly took them with my phone to send to my parents and thought I'd share with you all now!)
