That's great! They'll match perfectly. DD has a swim meet tomorrow and Sunday so I hope to get some good photos.

Here is the football group:

Last one to do now is Hunting/Archery and I have a good idea - should be done in the next few days.

Maria, I love the little football journal box. So cute!

For Backyard - -I made this in CDS. I have been using SCAL recently and it is a whole lot easier!
For those of you in this group - -this is what it should look like. I packaged it on a piece of chipboard so it doesn't bend while it is in transit.

Swimming -- SCAL title, sports mania swimmers

Monuments -- I used my new EK success postage stamp border. I tried to keep this very generic.
IMGP3128.jpg

playground -- title from graphically speaking, equipment from lockertalk. I tried out a bunch of different glues for this. I like the zig glue and the scocth scrapbooker's glue stick.
IMGP3129.jpg

Pool group B -- title & waves from going places. I used DCVW glitter paper - -this is the peice that drove me away from my xyron in search of new adhesives. I'm tired of cleaning up glue boogies.

Hunting
Susie & Maria -- If you want, I can put yellow eyelets on the small photo boxes, or just include them in the bag. I didn't want to put them on because I think it will be too hard to put on a photo with the eyelets already in place. Let me know.

soccer -- graphically speaking title, sports mania squares

basketball -- sports mania

I just have beach left, but I am not sure which of the great things on the new cart to use!

Susan, those are all so gorgeous! I love how you did the monument group. It's really interesting to see how you took it versus how I took it (I haven't finished the pieces yet to post a pic). And I am curious to see how others took it too. But great job!

Thank you so much!

I do better creating on the computer sometimes. I think it is because the laptop is a permanent extension of my fingers:)

I just wanted to check in and let you know that I have one more group to do- it is the Sand toy group. I will work on it this week. I wanted to wait and get my birthday present before I started these piece. DH and the kids gave me the Life's a Beach cart. It has the perfect sand toys.
I plan on mailing early next week.
S :)

Hi,
Im checking in early because I need to go on a field trip to do research for the DL swap!:yay: Thursday cant get here fast enough!
I have 3 sets completely done and half way throught the other 2. If possible I will mail Thursday, if not a week from Tuesday.:hippie:

i have a couple of ?'s on my bbq-picnic group......

dh bought me a really cool stamp set that is a license plate.
so.......

can i cut out a license plate and stamp it with this set, but what else will i need to meet the requirements???
and i want to put something in the corner like 2007, 2008, .....so for those of you in the group would you like a year in the corner or no??

just trying to play around with it a little to make it nice. and different.

I might be in this set & I, personally, would prefer to not have a year as I haven't done eldest's baby book yet and she is 8 so it'll probably be a LONG time till I get to 2009. If only I would stop going on vacation & doing vacation books I might get to home stuff like BBQ's!

And maybe if I stopped doing swaps...

F-123SA.jpg

That is one that 123SA did. As you can see it has three layers of paper. Only two are necessary. She has brads and printed words for embellishing also. Since you are stamping your letters, it's up to you on how you want to embellish.
Mickster made one where she added a die cut to it for the embellishment. Other people have added 3-D stickers or Primas.

I wouldn't put the date unless someone asks for it. Make sure you put their names on your baggies is LARGE prominent letters so I won't miss when sorting. :)

thank you. i think i'll play around with it more. are they hand cut?

Everything looks great! I brought my stuff with me, but didn't get anything done this weekend... ;) Will start it on Thursday (my day off!)

I'm loving everything so far!! You ladies are all so creative! I'm almost done with my sports pages and then I'll tackle my elements groups. :)

thank you. i think i'll play around with it more. are they hand cut?

Yes. First I printed the words, then I cut the white rectangle, the next two layers are 1/4 bigger I think. I used a corner rounder before adhereing the layers together.

Thank you Susan! But i totally stink at hand cutting things. you did a great job at cutting that one. holy cow.
I may rethink my license plate element!

You know - -I didn't actually handcut it. I cut the rectangles with my paper trimmer and then rounded the corners with the corner rounder - -super easy.
