Just thought I'd report in, as there were so many scary reports of people getting cut off, being on hold over an hour, etc. while trying to make ADRs recently. This morning was my 90 days and I got every single thing I wanted, and got them all exactly when I wanted, except CG which I had to switch days for till a later date in the trip. (No problem there - I had several days in mind for that one.)

One thing that was nice is that she recognized my angst about getting cut off and said that if we did, that she would go ahead and process everything we had booked up until that point, with the exception of ones that required a credit card to hold (CG, HDDR). I had already made 8 ADRs at that point, so I went ahead and gave the credit card and she processed them then. That way, I was assured of getting the difficult ones that I had lined up first. Then, we started the process over again and lined up the remaining ones. It was a nice load off my mind to get them booked.

Anyway, in case anyone's curious, here's what I got:

9-2 - Narcoosees - 7:15
9-3 - Donald's at Tusker House - 8:00
9-3 - Rose and Crown - 7:25
9-4 - Sci-Fi - 11:15
9-4 - Kona - 5:15
9-5 - Biergarten - 12:00
9-5 - HDDR - 7:15
9-6 - CG - 6:05
9-7 - Wave - 12:00

I called right at 7:00, got right in after the prompts (no wait) and hung up the phone at 7:22. Just for kicks, I called back at 7:30 to see how long the wait would be and got in again with no wait. So, if my experience is any indication, they've got the system working much better than about a week ago.

I think the horror ADR stories come from the first 2 weeks of FD. Since a lot of schools haven't begun yet. Our schools here in SE Fl start August 24th. I'm a bad mom I pull my kid out of school to go for a few days after Labor Day. But she has a 4.0 average so I don't feel so bad. I know for the brief time that we lived in Western NY that schools up there don't start til after Labor Day. I am not expecting any problems next week.

GMTA...I had the same kind of experience. Once I got through all the prompts a CM picked right up, less than 15 mins total. I wasn't even sweating and planning to call right at 7am, but I was up and said why not and it worked!
