Complete shock, lol

My dh actually said that he's really looking forward to our vacation! I never thought I'd hear those actual words coming out of his mouth! He said he can't wait to ride all of the new rides since he last went in 2003.
Inside, I'm so excited that he said this, on the outside I kept my cool and said, I know you are going to have a great time.
He's just a nh boy that doesn't like to take vacations unless fishing is involved. I told him he could fish all he wants at POR So, as we are coming close...my whole family (even the teen that likes to roll his eyes at me) is excited.
Its going to be a great trip!

Congratulations!!! I know how you feel. We took our "once in a lifetime trip" in Feb. of 2004. After the trip DH did agree that we would be back, but not soon. We went to Disneyland Paris in March of 2005, he was willing to do that. Then I decided we should go back to WDW Dec. of 2006. I actually wrote down notes to try and convince him, I had many GOOD reasons Well, I started with, "I think we should go to WDW in Dec. of this year." and he said OK!!!!! I don't know that he's looking forward to it yet, but I'm hoping he will be. At least he's willing to go!!!

that is great that your DH is looking forward to going. It's nice to get a "shock" like that. I also got a "shock" when my DBF said to me the other day "i can't wait to be in the most magical place on earth with you"! Wow was I surprised!! And here i was thinking I was the only one looking forward to going... boy that sure made my day to know we're both looking so forward to it!!!

Just goes to show you that once we think we have the men figured out they go and change.

My GF went with her family in January to WDW. It took 5 years of begging and pleading because he did not want to go, then wanted to wait until the kids were old enough,etc. Well he LOVED it and said to her "why did we wait so long to come here". MEN - Gotta love them.

Have a great trip. We are heading down in a couple of weeks!!!
