Complete Sept Park Info Up

The complete entertainment schedule is up for the month of Sept over at Disney.com.

Question, on the month view it shows Aladdin showing on Monday and Tuesday & Friday (the week of Sept 19th). However, if you look at the multi-day planner view (for Sept 19-22), it only shows Aladdin showing on Monday. There is no info for the Tuesday show times. Can I trust that it will, in fact, be playing on Tuesday as noted on the monthly calendar?

I worried because that would mean Monday is the only day we'll be able to get into the show. We arrive just before 2:00pm into SNA. So between travel time and checking in (GCH) we would most likely have to catch the 4:45pm or 6:20pm showing. Is one better to get to then the other? And how early before the show starts to we need to start getting in line... or is there even a line to get into?

I wonder if they're fully done with the schedule yet. I was looking up Sept 13-17 (when I'll be there) and on Multi-day planner it shows Aladdin playing on Fri Sept 16 only, and when I go to Daily planner it shows Aladdin playing on Sat Sept 17 only. No doubt I am confused up the wazoo.

In regards to your questions, I couldn't tell you if they're playing Aladdin due to my schedule looking wonky as well. However, since you're arriving at SNA at 2 PM, I would suggest catching the 6:20 show so that way you can have a bit of a breather in between. I've heard people suggest that the earliest show, which is around 12 ish, is the way to go, but this is impossible in your case. I've never encountered a fully packed show, and I typically travel in off times. We wait in line for about 30 min. They send you into a line/holding area for either of three tiers, and during my 30 min wait, I eat packed sandwiches to cut back on wasted time of sitting down and eating. HTH


Plus, there's no way they're done with the park info yet. Electronica seems to be missing?

knowing that you are finding odd things in your daily schedule does make me feel a little bit better, that sounds evil, sorry. But you may be right that things are just not 100% complete like I thought they were. I just went and pulled up the one day schedule for that Tuesday (9/20) and it shows Aladdin playing.

We could go on Monday after arriving as we do have enough days on our Park Hopper, I just didn't want to have to feel rushed to see anything like that. And I didn't know if Aladdin was like the WOC craziness where FP's are handed out for showings. I think that's what I was afraid of most. I'll keep checking the website to see if it fixes it or if things are added/deleted. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that it will be showing on Tuesday and we'll go then.

Missing out on the fireworks and Fantasmic is bad enough. I am glad we'll get a chance to see WOC and now Aladdin.

I do not believe the information is all up and running. The calendar seems to change on a daily basis still. I'm on 2-3 times a day to make sure the refurb info in post 1 on the September thread is up to date. The info to Sept 9th hasn't changed in a couple of days or at least so it seems. I can open a couple of my dates then it shoots me back to August.

Not sure if the schedule is complete but in case you are not aware Aladdin historically only played 4-5 days each week. When DLR debuted WOC in June 2010 they upped Aladdin to daily performances. At some point - maybe Sept - they may decide to back to 4-5 days a week.
