i've seen complete orlando.com mentioned a few times.
we've just priced a holiday for next may. we can get 2wks at OKW with DDP (through complete orlando), for pretty much the same price as POR with QSDP (through disney). sounds like a no brainer to me, but we've never used them before... guess i feel safer going through disney directly.

what are your experiences of using complete oralndo?
did you have any problems?
all feedback greatly apprieciated

I read a lot of threads on here and other forums, they have quite a good reputation, they are part of Attraction Tickets Direct who have been trading since 2002.

I wouldn't hesitate to use them paying by credit card for extra security but have you compared using Quidco http://www.quidco.com/disney-florida-holidays/?ac
They pay 3% cashback
Just done a quick compare (don't know your family size or ages) for 3 over 9 & 1 under 9.
CO £2,570 OKW with 14 day tix
Disney £2,767 less Quidco £83 = £2,684
£114 more(if I have the family size correct), personally I would go with CO but if you have concerns using them is it worth paying the extra? for some its worth paying a little more.

our boys are 9 ( entering him as 10, to get adulp DP) and 3.
disney works out at £2476 POR 14 ngt
complete orlando £2584 OKW 14 ngt

to me it seems well worth paying the extra £108, just don't want any 'nasty suprises'. waiting for VA flights to come available for 21st May. BA available now, but with recent events, i'd rather not book with them. lets hope the deal is still there in a week.
unless someone comes back and says 'dont use Complete orlando', i think i'll go with them

No one knows but the deal is still on for this year, can't see it ending soon. We are still considering OKW again for next August but I won't be booking before I have the flights, could be anytime between Sept and early next year.

CO was £400 cheaper than WDW, actually £200 less thanks to Wayne (quidco), but to me it was worth paying the extra booking with WDW and having that piece of mind.

Saying that if Disney had not released the 42% off offer plus FDD for next year I would have booked with CO regardless, and like Wayne stated used a Credit Card to pay for the deposit and the balance. Just in case;)

I booked SSR with them for next august and dealing's with them so far have been very good, very nice and polite people very quick to respond to questions seems like they have excellent customer service I have heard nothing but good reviews about the company especially by people stranded or affected by the Ashcloud not being able to fly out etc they came out with brilliant reviews.

Isn't in theory your booking with Disney ie I have seen my disney reservation on the US Disney site therefore your protected with that as well?

I booked with complete orlando months ago and I was very impressed.
They were so patient with me while I got quotes for different hotels before making my mind up and nothing was too much trouble.
Their service really is exemplary and reminded me of the service you get at WDW.
My hotel (PO for 21 nts with QSDP) worked out just under disney prices (but they have since gone up and by booking early I have saved around £300 just on the hotel) and my whole package WITH 4x 21 day unlimited tickets came to the same price as Virgin holidays without the disney tickets - even after virgins 10% off.
All in all we have saved over £1000 with complete orlando and we are very happy - would definitely recommend them and wont hesitate to book with them again.

will i still be able to book the magical express if i go through CO, and how do i do it? last yr was the 1st time onsite, and i booked the ME via the link on my confirmation email from disney travel co

ALL BOOKED :dance3::dance3:

very impressed with CO so far. i booked online this morning. received a courtesy call (which i didn't expect) from a lovely lady called Maria at lunchtime. she asked if there was anything else they could do - book the ME for us, add any special room requests etc. she said they would email me my U.S disney res number in a couple of days

I spoke to Maria too they have been brilliant with me since we booked and are very quick to respond to emails etc. :goodvibes

Your booking is with the agent through whom you book, which is why you need to check your terms and conditions. Disney US is not liable if you want to claim, although in certain circumstances they may offer a token of goodwill. However the latter is more likely in a situation where things go wrong while you are there and they will try to rectify it. If you wanted to make a compensation claim, you would be best doing it through the agent you booked with, assuming it is not something travel insurance covers.

I always book my deposit on my credit card and pay the rest with a debit card, which offers protection. It doesn't nessesarily need to be the deposit you pay on a cc to be covered, just as long as you have paid something on the card - and no, you don't need to pay a minimum of £100. As long as the total value of the product or service exceeds £100 you have some recourse.

CO have been around a while and I haven't found any negative reviews, although I am sure they are out there, just as you will find them for anyone.

Also for flight inclusive holidays on Disney.co.uk your booking is not with Disney, its with Openride Ltd who are owned by Virgin. It says in the T&C's any problems in Florida they will endeavour to put things right but anything not resolved has to be put in writing to Openride not Disney.
Personally I would rather risk dealing with CO than Virgins Customer services.

That is correct. In fact it says clearly on the web payment page and on all the literature "Booked by Openride Travel ltd on behalf of the WDTC". On two occasions I entered into minor disputes with "Disney UK" but I addressed OpenRide from the outset, based on the info in the T&Cs. It was a frustrating, long winded process, but I have to say, they were incredibly pleasant and while a mere willingness to help sometimes just doesn't cut it, it does go some way in helping you keep your head in the midst of it - very important if you want resolution.

On the subject of T&Cs I will add that although the general majority of the folk on here seem to read these, and take the initiative to seek advice and clarification on grey areas, it is astonishing how many people enter into a multi thousand pound contract with holiday companies without reading, let alone ensuring they understand what they are signing up to. One of the biggest dangers is when a great deal shows up and panic sets in as to whether it will still be there after checking the terms of business.

has anyone ever had problems accessing their reservation online when booking through an agent?
i have tried to retrieve my reservation using the 12 digit US res number that complete orlando forwarded to me, but it keeps coming up with an error message. once i've seen it on disney's website, i'll feel much happier

You're on the wrong Disney website Hon. You need to be on www.mydisneyreservation.com. It will for your number, which you enter and at some stage on the first page they ask how you booked. Click Through a group or convention. This is where I made the mistake intially thinking it was a travel agent, but it has something to do with the special UK tickets.

Let me know how you get on.

2tiggies, thankyou so much. it worked. i feel much happier now i've seen it under disneys reservations :)

:goodvibes Well dont go thinking I'm clever or anything :rotfl2: I had the same problem in January, but I got a message popup on my screen with a tech support number in the US and I phoned and the whole thing was explained to me. Glad you got it sorted.
