Though I've been to WDW 15 times, most of those times I was too young to make reservations. The last 2 times I was old enough but we opted to pop in to whatever resturant was available so this is really the first time I've needed to make reservations. We set up Victoria and Albert's 4 months ago so that's done, but only recently realized we should have also gotten ADRs for California Grill during the fireworks. We'll be there from May 15 to May 22, but nothing was available when I called 2 weeks ago. I waited to late.:scared:

So here is my question. What other options do I have to see the fireworks while dining at Cali Grill or am I out of luck? I'm staying at YC at Club level. Can the conceirge help with this one?:confused3

You know what I would do? Eat at Kona and watch the fireworks from the beach at the Poly

:lmao:Ha, I was going to suggest the exact same thing! We did this on our past Feb. trip and it was awesome! If you get there early enough you can get a hammock to sit in while watching. Plus Kona has some really great food! :thumbsup2

That sounds romantic! How long before the fireworks should we grab a hammock? I don't know a thing about how full the Poly gets before Wishes

We have watched from Ohanas and asked for a window seat. We usually made the ADR for about 30m before the fireworks....we loved it!! :goodvibes

You should definitely contact the YC concierge itinerary planning office to see if they can help you. Although they have access to the same reservation system as other CMs do, I have had good luck with that in the past. If nothing else, you can let them know what you want and they will be the ones checking the system every day to see if something has opened up, instead of you having to constantly call back.
