yep :-) we had a nice Disneyland trip,

and we were able to get ALL the JUJU too !!!

:-)

:cheer2::cheer2:

if u didn't know, theres 9 in all :-)

it was a lot more fun than the frontierland stuff.

some of the JUJU u don't know about:

1) the trader sams bar at Disneyland hotel
2) buy a pineapple drink outside the jungle cruise
3) buy a venomade at the bbq place

the other 6 are listed on the board and u buy the $5 dollar packet for it.

:-)

also the juju places open when the park opens!!!

frontierland stuff doesn't open till later, and it closes early too.

so hats off to the juju traders :-)

I hope they add more!!!

My husband and son did this yesterday and really enjoyed it! They collected all 9 juju and are very proud of themselves.

OK my son would love this. Explain how it works...

finding each "JUJU" is an adventure! u have to solve the clues.

the "eye of mara" juju, you have to buy the map $5 then decode the letters on it from the Indiana jones ride. once u decode the message you can get the eye.

on another one, u have to locate the box of lost juju which is somewhere in Disneyland (misshipped!!). read the newspaper for clues!! elephant juju.

the treehouse juju, u put it in a rock and it makes music.......(this would be good in the Indiana jones ride, to have the eye of mara put it into something and a door opens hahaha).

for the bird juju, youll have to take pics of 5 birds.

the traders sam juju is in a bar in the Disneyland hotel :-) which is outside of Disneyland.....

sooo yep, you get maps, and some papers for each "mission" to find a juju.

so you will goto the adventure trading company to get each mission materials, in adventureland located right across from jungle cruise :-)

That sounds awesome. Out of curiosity, do you have to buy the map for Indy? Can you just bring your own decoder info?

ETA: How much does it cost to get all of the juju? You have to buy a map, a venomade, a pineapple drink...anything else?

Each juju adventure is at least $5, and a couple are a bit more--I think the drink at Trader Sam's was $7.50. So probably around $55-60 total.

Actually...there are 10 JuJu's...

To get the last one you have to pay attention to the Disneyland Today twitter page. They had this JuJu hunt this past Friday... The 15th, and my husband and kids were able to participate. (They only allow 25 people...so if you see there is a time and meeting place...show up early.) They went on a hunt all along Pirates Lair and got a skull JuJu. You need to make sure you did the Eye of Mara to be able to do the "legendary" quest.

OK, so each JUJU is a separate $5 map and mission? Can you buy all the maps to work on them at once or one at a time? Is there a certain JUJU piece at each or is it random?

great info!! thanks!! :-)

can u post a picture for all of us ? wed love to see it :-)

u know I think it would be cool if the eye of mara was a key that u put into things in the Indiana jones ride.

like it could be the "haunted mansion" door... everyone is in a room and u have to put the key in to open it or something.... hmmm lol

ok some ideas...

:-)

tnx for sharing :-)

yep each juju mission is 5 dollars, and includes a map or a paper or a booklet for each one.

2 of them, the pineapple and the snake u buy a drink and that's it, its on the drink lid.

1 of them, the mask, u buy a 5 dollar puzzle guide, solve it, and take it to trader sams bar and then buy a drink and then u got it :-)

trader sams was HOT!!! they had all the tiki torches going and it was HOT lol... inside it was full capacity though, and kids cant sit at the bar but u can take them inside and sit at the tables. they serve food too, and have a place next door to eat too. its a pretty cool little bar.

hmm but whats the best non alcoholic drink @ Disney?

Louisiana lemonade at the blue bayou!!!!

they should put a juju on that one.

I drank 3 of them lol

cant get enough!!

:-)

yep the indy decoder is not inside the line at the ride, but outside of it (past the people at the front).

if uve been to indy too, the decoder will also decode the symbols inside of the ride too :-) (take a picture!!! they r in line).

but yes u need the map, cause the map gives u a secret sentence that sends u somewhere else on the map to take a picture of another code.

you would probably never find the tablet without the map.

:-)

the eye of mara was the most fun for us..... decoding the map and the indy ride too :-)

Did you have to make a joke over the speakerphone thing?
I want to do this, but I hate being the "center of attention" and public speaking freaks me out!

hahahahha :-)

well they have a mic and speaker at the booth too. so u don't have to do it on the boat :-) , just when u get OFF the boat :-)

also they have rivermaps at the jungle cruise office, which kids will love to draw over!!

OK I want to help my son do the Eye of Mara. So what exact place do we stop to get the map.

Also for the pineapple what stand and what drink do you order?

Thanks!
