*COMPLETE!* Dining Report 12/3-12/10 DxDP 70 SNACKS!

DH and I ordered the meats platter for 2 on the deluxe plan and they asked what other starter we wanted too.

My sister was really not feeling good (head cold) after Be Our Guest so she headed back to the resort for the night. Dad was going to stick it out! We had our reservation for the Dessert Party at 8pm (fireworks were at 9). I had my dad and the kids sit down near the bathrooms on the Terrace while I went and stood in line at 7:15. The line got long very quickly. I talked to a recently engaged couple in front of me and a very fun couple behind me in line. I love talking to Disney people :) At 7:50ish, they began letting people in so I had everyone join me. We were given wristbands and brought to our table.

Now, I've done this dessert party once before (when we brought my mother in law in 2012). We were given the SAME exact table that we sat at for that night! It's the best seat in the house in my opinion. It's right up against the railing so even when everyone does stand up, no one goes in front of this table. It's great. Unfortunately, no refund for the sick one who didn't show... of course, that's my sister's favorite thing too... desserts :(

We headed straight for the buffet.

The mango shooters are my favorite. I loaded up.

My kids made several runs back up to the buffet. I think my son must've went at least 5 times. This was our view:

It's not the most perfect, head on view BUT I believe having a chair to watch Wishes is PRICELESS! To me, this buffet is well worth it. We paid just under $90 for all of us (including the absent sister).

My dad was so glad that he stayed for the fireworks. He didn't eat much of the desserts but now I understand why (not taking his pills all week long).. I give the dessert party a 9/10. We will do it again someday. It's a nice treat.

After the fireworks, dad took DD back to the resort and I took DS to go use up some snack credits. The following will be how we used the rest of our snack credits up... just basically a lot of food pics. Enjoy!

We made a quick pit stop at Pecos Bill... the line was not very long (3 people in front of us) but it took me 30 minutes to get my order. Ridiculous. The toppings bar was half shut down already and took another 10 minutes to get at. I found DS sleeping at the table :(

The following pictures are of everything after we got home... 70 snack credits is a LOT to use up. In the beginning of the trip we were actually paying for sodas and things like that.. should've used those credits! There's no way we would've ran out.

Continued in the next post...

We gave a lot of the snacks as Christmas presents (all from Mickey of course). The fudge was a big hit and so were the cookies.

Hi! I have been following along with all of your TR and dining reports! I love them all. I have enjoyed the dining report, but I am hoping you plan on writing a TR! I can't wait to hear about the details of your trip.

Hi! I have been following along with all of your TR and dining reports! I love them all. I have enjoyed the dining report, but I am hoping you plan on writing a TR! I can't wait to hear about the details of your trip.

I'm hoping to finish off the dining report today and get started on the trip report! It will be a good one :)

Oh wow look at all those snacks :faint: It must have been so much fun spending all those credits :)

The snack shopping was a blast! But the bag got heavy by the end of the night.. lol!

Time for the last day :(

We had an 8:30am reservation for Boma. It was the closest place I could book so we didn't have to travel far. Our flight was scheduled for that afternoon but we were delayed an hour (got a phone call during breakfast)... had I known that, I would've made a breakfast reservation somewhere else. :confused3

We arrived a little early and were seated right away.

Finally got my pecan roll :) Yum! The sausages here were insanely huge (and yummy).. so was the asparagus. I really like their selection.

A view from up top...

The cost of this meal was $101.13 making this the cheapest meal we had. I give Boma an 7/10 for their breakfast. It's good but not too much out of the ordinary.

We went back to the resort to relax for a bit, check out and hang out in the lobby. They had this breakfast station set up in the gift shop...

There were sandwiches and oatmeal/grits for sale (not complimentary of course).

I took a picture of the new soda dispensers...

My dad & sister took it easy in the lobby while the kids and I explored the rest of the resort. We ended up near the pool area where they wanted to play for a bit. Mommy visited the bar...

I was told from my husband that the temperature was 10 degrees and there was snow on the ground. There was no way I was about to leave Disney without getting hammered first. So yes, at about 10:30 in the morning, I ordered myself a Blue Island Moonshine.

I told the bartender what I was going home to and she said that I needed this. It was very, VERY strong... not something I normally would order but it made me feel good enough to get on the Magical Express and then I was stuck.

I hope everyone enjoyed this dining report! I really love doing these. I will be starting my trip report VERY soon. I'll be sure to put a link in here when I do. If you think I had a ton of food photos, wait till you see the other pictures I took!

Thanks everyone! I'm checking on a few different photo hosting sites before I begin the trip report. I can't deal with Photobucket again... I really have too many pictures. Any suggestions? I looked at Flickr but can't figure out how to post on a board like this... the links weren't showing up when I tried it.

I also wanted to post how much savings we got using the deluxe dining plan. This is the first time I paid for a dining plan out of pocket (no free dining). We paid $2475.76 total for the dining plan and our food total was $3488.41. So we got $1012.65 in free food!

Really enjoyed your reviews and beautiful pictures, thanks so much for taking the time! :goodvibes

I really enjoyed your dining report, thanks so much for sharing it with us :goodvibes

Great pictures and food reviews. Looking forward to following your next TR!

Great dining report! I'm impressed with how fast you kept up with adding new installments :) I don't think I've ever tried Disney fudge before, maybe I'll give it a go. And I need to try the dessert party too! I watched Hallowishes from the terrace when I attended my first MNSSHP last year and it was kind of a relaxing place, away from the rest of the madness.
