I'm making my first ever ADR's tomorrow, just wanna see want you guys think about my choices, i have a party of mum, dad, DS 21, and DD 17, we are only doing ADR's for the first week; this is what i currently have

Tues: Relaxing day at BB, followed by Boma 8pm -9pm

Wed: Full, long day at MGM, Mama Melrose 7:30-8pm, then 10:30 showing of Fantasmic!

Thrus: Epcot, San Angel Inn 8pm-9pm

Fri: MK NO ADR's for today, no MK resturants appealed to us any suggestions, mostly likely eat CS

For fri. MK day I suggest a quick monorail ride to the Poly to Kona.
we do not care for MK choices very much ourselves, and sometimes it is nice to get a break from them parks.

Sat. I recommend Spoodles at the BW.

I would also suggest taking the monorail. You can take it to Polynesian and try Ohana's or to the Contemporary and try Chef Mickey.

It has been our experience that both have been high energy. So if you're looking for a more relaxed atmosphere, I would go to Kona Cafe at the Polynesian.

What resorts are you staying at ? I was wondering why you were picking Chef Mickeys and then doing AK? We use to do Chef Mickeys when we did the MK. We would go in MK as soon as they opened and go to the rides for a few fours and then exit the park at around 10:20 when the hoards of people were coming in and take the monorail to Chef Mickeys for a late breakfast. We went back to the hotel afterward( which by then would be close to noon) for a swim or switch parks. Lately though we go to the Crystal Palace and stay longer in the park. We don't do the all day in the park thing any more. We max out at a half a day and go back to the resort:)

Breakfast at the Crystal Palace is quite good. We have also taken the monorail to Kona Cafe at the Poly and had lunch there which was fun. The Grand Floridan cafe would also be a nice spot for lunch.

I would do a character breakfast at the AK if you are spending the day there and do Chef Mickeys or Crystal Palace etc. when you go to the MK

Are you children up to eating so late? We eat dinner at home around 7Pm but when we are on vacation I try to make ressies for earlier than that.

The men in your party might like ESPN for lunch at the Boardwalk with its sport theming. You and your daughter might like it too;) The Yacht Club also has lunch with a new menu that sounds great. Check out Deb wills menus.

For dinner go to Spoodles:)

Is there a reason that you chose Chef Mickey's? I don't think I'd bother with that one since you don't have any little ones in your group. Also, if you do eat there, you'll need to plan for more than 30 min. If you want a character breakfast, what about the Tusker House at AK since you're doing AK that day?

As for restaurants on the Boardwalk, I agree with the poster who recommended Spoodles. That's one of our must-do's on every trip.

Have fun!

We have never eaten at MK for TS (DH won't go anywhere but Pecos Bill):confused3

Kona is quite good and a quick trip on the monorail as is Chef Mickey's at The contemporary.

At the BW I'd suggest Spoodles, we have always had great food there.

My first thought was also around Chef Mickeys followed by AK on your first day - I know why you are choosing AK for your first day - cos you'll be asleep by 7pm after that long flight, right? We are are choosing the character breakfast at Tusker House instead when we visit AK- we prefer to get there early and having a late breakfast but as you'll be up at the crack of dawn that day...

We have tried all the restaurants in MK except Tony's - are going there in August. If you have never been, I would go for the Liberty Tree dinner - it's a character meal again though but it's very good - been there 3 times. Or of course you could choose to do Chef Mickey's that day - short walk from Contemporary to MK.

ESPN Club is my suggestion for the Boardwalk.

Plus I suggest hopping on the monorail to eat at Kona, the food there is yummy.

thank you, i wanted to do at least one character meal DS21 actually said he wanted to go see mickey.

we dont mind about having to drive from Chef Mickeys to AK, we arnt really into MK that much and i have heard that MK is busiest on a monday

i have just booked my ADRs!!!! got all the ones i wanted, decided not to book any ADRs for MK and Boardwalk, save some money eat CS

so got

Chef Mickey's for 8:15am
Boma 8:10pm
Mama Melrose 7:50pm
San Angel Inn 8:15pm
