I've got a few issues that i want to bring to disney's attention from our recent trip but I can't seem to find an address or email anywhere? Can anybody help???:confused3

If you go on the DLRP website, theres a contact us link at the bottom.

I'm not impressed with it though as we've tried to contact them three times this way and we've never heard anything back!!

same i've used that before to get some info and they never got back to me :sad1:

The email address tennisfan has posted here is the one I've used recently, and had prompt response on.

There seem to be an awful lot of DISers with complaints recently.
I've been a member of DISboards for about 3 years now and I'm sure that never before have there been so many "frequent visitors" to the resort wanting to lodge complaints on their return.
Is this a reflection of falling standards at DLRP ?

I didn't have a complaint, I just wanted to ask a question. I do have a complaint now though- That they don't respond to customer questions from the website!!!

My issues have been with the lack of knowledge, and incorrect information given to visitors to DLRP by CM's, both in person and over the phone.

I had a very swift response, with a satisfactory result, to one recent complaint I made, and I have another issue lodged with them at the moment.

I have no complaints at all about the guest communications staff who reply to emails - their service to me so far has been excellent.

Sorry, I'm such an anorak about Customer Care. :rolleyes1

I did a course last week on handling complaints and it was suggested that people complain more during a "Credit Crunch", but is that because people expect more because they've had to work that little bit harder to pay for the service or is it because business's are cutting back too and that affects the service they offer.

Anyway you guys were no help whatsover in helping me come up with the answer ;) but thanks for both replying Elaine & Bob :goodvibes

i wanted to highlight the problem of smoking in the parks which made the queues a bit unpleasant and also people queue jumping sometimes in clear view of CMs:mad: !!! I used that email address earlier and they sent a response back within a few hours saying apologies for any disappointment and a reply to my comments will be sent ASAP :thumbsup2

People are still smoking ?
That really bugs me, I used to smoke 20 a day, and have visited DLP as a smoker, believe me nobody is that desperate for a cigarette that they need to smoke in a queue line. I got really annoyed on one of our visits with 2 teenage girls smoking in the "indoor" bit of BTM.
There have always been plenty of out of the way places to go for a cigarette, I know I've looked for them, I'm sure some of them will now be designated smoking areas. This is definately something everyone who experiences it should complain about, its the only way to get rid of it.
I must be very lucky because I've never really experienced queue jumping. I find it quite funny when people are deperate to get past you when you're walking into POTC or BTM, I always think we'll end up in the same boat/train anyway. :confused3

We had people smoking on phantom manor, BTM, Indiana Jones and then quite a few people just walking round the park. I think the phantom manor one was the worst we were only in the queue for 10 mins and the couple smoking had 2 cigarettes each in that time

We've taken to forming a mini human chain along the wider bits of the queues so noone can try and squeeze past. We were a bit shocked in Silver spur when we were next in line to go to the front desk bit (which the CM was aware of) but another family just walked straight throught the door and she served them first grrrrr!

Gosh! I am going 2 weeks today and I last visited DLRP last September so I wonder if I will notice any difference with the smoking. To be fair I didn't notice people smoking in ride queues last year however I guess with the park being alot busier in August it may be slightly different which is a shame because I think designated smoking areas are far better and work well when people compy with the rules.

Sorry to sound such a bore but things like tsmoking in lines and in such close proximity to others really annoy me!:confused3

I completely agree i hate breathing in other peoples smoke and its irresponsible for people to smoke around so many children!

We were there 2 weeks ago, for 5 days. Although I saw quite a few people smoking in the parks (although relatively few considering the numbers), I didn't see one person smoking in the queues :thumbsup2

Did experience a few queue jumpers though.

lol i seemed to have quite bad luck with people smoking in the queues by the sounds of it!!!

When we went in June we experianced people smoking in the under cover sections of the queues for Big Thunder Mountain and the Phantom Mannor. This was only on the Saturday when the crowds were very large and every other person seemed to be smoking when we were generaly walking around the park.

DLRP could do with some no smoking signs in the under cover queue areas. Its a shame that smoking is not yet barred in the parks, but i'm sure it will happen eventualy.

They have introduced smoking areas, which I saw were being used, so you can see that they are moving very slowly in the right direction.
