This poll shows that, out of 288 people polled, only 16 -- that's about 1 in 18-- felt that there was too much to do and too little time. So about 17 out of every 18 people don't feel that way.
90-- less than a third--- felt that FP+ forces you to plan. So over 2/3 of the people polled don't feel that way.
only 41-- just about one in seven-- felt that ADRs force you to plan. So close to 6 out of every 7 don't feel that way.
only 26-- less than one in ten-- felt that Disney is too complicated. So more than 9 out of 10 people don't feel that way.
only 34 out of that 288 -- about one in 8--felt that you have to make every second count because of the cost. So about 7 out of every 8 people polled don't feel that way.
Only 45-- approximately one in six-- felt that Disney is Packed and too busy. So approximately 5 out of 6 people polled don't feel that way.
And 141-- close to half-- felt that Disney is not stressful.
Funny, the way I say it, it sounds as though Disney is getting an overwhelming vote of approval here.
But if you want, I can spin the same statistics the other way:
Out of 288 people who spend time on a message board that's all about planning a Disney vacation, Over half had a major complaint about their destination. The primary complaint is that a Disney World vacation forces you to pre-plan every aspect of your vacation. Over 130 of those who chose to answer the survey -- just over 45%-- listed as their biggest complaint the fact that a Disney vacation "forces you to plan." So almost half the people who answered would prefer not to plan their meals six months out and the time they would ride the major rides 2 months out.
Forty five of those responding listed as their major complaint the fact that "Disney is packed and is too busy." Apparently even planning things half a year ahead of time still doesn't mean you'll be able to relax and enjoy your vacation. As a result, even with all that planning, 16 people stated as their major complainte the idea that there was "Too much to do, and too little time." This, on a vacation that's all about free time.
Then, to add insult to injury, Disney prices have again risen. So it's no surprise that 34 of those responded listed as their first complaint the idea that "You have to make every second count because of the cost." Doesn't sound like much of a vacation to me.
As for me, I don't find it stressful at all. It's a vacation in a theme park. It's only as stressful as you make it. And this poll, like so many others, can say exactly what you want it to say.
In the words of Mark Twain, slightly edited for the Disboards: ""There are three kinds of lies: lies, darn lies and statistics."
