I have never complained about the things FW has never had....only about the LONG list of things that have disappeared.
So what's wrong with complaining...is there a law against it, or is it the American way ? As someone reminded me on my ice thread we are all entitled to our opinions. My ice thread was just a basic observation for conversational purposes and people had to go off as if I personal attacked their home, I stated in my thread that my tt had an ice maker and it was not a personal complain ,but people didn't want to read that part , just that I'm a complaining idiot that has never stayed at FW and you "ole timers" own this board and FW is ...blah,blah,blah...well some people might enjoy reading something different other than how FW is all sunshine and happiness, as of this writing my thread received 826 hits so someone out there has enjoyed something different, and if a thread offends you why can't you as an adult just pass it by ? So what if someone reports that the buffet is no good or there were cob webs..big deal, if it makes you mad read something else. They say no personal attacks on this board but we all know who your talking about when you make a comment toward a thread, or are we that stupid. Why must ever thread be how we LOVED FW, I get tired of reading the same "sunshine threads" over and over. I personal enjoy reading a " true life experience" of a trip, good and bad. People have gotten where they are so afraid to post the bad for the flames, so they alway state just the good...my goodness grow up, there is bad in every place on earth nothing is perfect, why must it be ? Why can't people discuss anything without getting so tore up about it, good or bad, if you don't see eye to eye so be it. How stupid was that ice thread that people have kept it on top for days now , do people really think I have sat at home crying over 2.00 a bag ice, I do have a life. And for you to start a thread so people can berate people that don't have a "sunshine post" is just plain mean, no matter how you dress it up .
If I have to stop this forum and come back there I'll do it, just watch me!
Do I have to crawl back there and separate you two??
I've never stayed here, but we're thinking about it, what will I miss???

Now, don't be hatin'. I was forced by my wife who wants to spend a week near her parents (who used to live in Florida, but now live in Western New York - figure THAT one out).
Sadly for me... WNY is home.Which amusement park are you going to?
Nothing wrong with WNY - my wife and I both grew up there. I just can't figure out why my inlaws built a home in Sebastian, FL and 3 years later sold it and moved back to Buffalo. Anyway, we were looking into staying at the campground at Darien Lake.
WNY is ok. I too have lived here my whole life. I just wish it was warmerThe Six Flags at Darien Lake is being sold. Not sure if you knew that. We've stayed there in the campground, but never stayed at Darien Lake State Park.
I didn't know that. Who are they selling to? I remember when it started prior to being sold to Six Flags. Is Fantasy Island still on Grand Island?
I don't know the name of the company they are selling it to. I remember hearing it is a real estate company based in Florida. They haven't announced much information yet at all. I have heard that Six Flags tickets will still be honored this summer, but I haven't read it anywhere.Fantasy Island is still on Grand Island. FOr info on it, their complete name is "Martin's Fantasy Island" and I believe if you google it you will find their official website. There is a KOA there connected to Fantasy Island, but we have never stayed there. It looks wide open, not many trees. Where did you grow up? I grew up, and still live in, the Town of Tonawanda.
6. A low key pool. I am not spending my hard earned Disney dollars trying to drag my kids away from the "wicked awesome" pool.
