Comped Tickets From Disney

Heading to Disney on Saturday. I do business with Family Fun magazine, which is owned by Disney. The sales rep I deal with gave me free passes to Disney. All he told me was that I go to Guest Services to pick them up. I get 8 tickets that can be used in any way I want (i.e 8 individual, 2 4-days, etc).
I have no idea if these are hopper tickets. The rep didn't know either.

Has anyone ever used comped tickets before? If so, maybe you can help me figure this out.

But, having them as hoppers would be SWEET

They are probably a total of eight - each being a 1 day park hopper.

That would be my best guess. I'm sure you'll find out when you get there. :_

Comp'd tickets are supposed to be one day, one park. My last visit, last November, they slipped me one day park hoppers. The media rep said that they were doing this "special" for me, but I have a feeling it might be their new policy. I'm really not that special.

The last comped tickets that we have seen were only "one day one park". I would think that giving out ones that let you park hop might be too confusing to keep track of.

I'm with the last two posters. We are a Disney partner and we get one day-one park tickets.

It depends entirely on the agreement Disney have with the company who's giving the comped tickets. They could be one day base tickets, they could be 4 Day Park Hoppers. They are usually single day base tickets, but you'll only know when you see them or if you ask the person who gave them to you. The Rep who gave them to you should know.

During our October trip....We got stuck at the top of BTMRR during the last ride of the evening. It was 12 Midnight and very cold. This was the day Wilma hit. The MK stayed open late that night because the MK didn't open until 1:30PM. Anyway we were at the top of the second hill for about 30 minutes. They had to have a technician come up and brace the train before we were aloud to get off and go down the steps. When we got off the ride the Supervisor said to stop by City Hall on the way out for a free comp pass.
I thought that was very nice of them.

Anyway, to make a long story short, the comp pass was a 1-day hopper. So you may get the 1-day hopper.

My DH also received comp tix from his Family Fun sales rep, but 3 years ago. They were all 1-day adult, no hopper.

We are finally going to use them in January. I don't mind about the no hopper part, because we are not the hoppin' types!

I THINK you can add an option to a ticket regardless of where the ticket came from for $35 per ticket.

I could be wrong though, because you used to not be able to upgrade comp tickets. Because nothing was charged for them, there was no amount of money they could credit you back.

BUT, in the end, if they aren't hoppers, and you can't add the hopping, just get them as (8) single day tickets. That way, if you DO decide to park hop, you can just use two seperate tickets.
